With the continuous progress of basic education curriculum reform,how to use curriculum resources to create efficient classrooms has become one of the focus issues of many educators.As an important course resource,illustrations in textbooks have the functions of enhancing students' aesthetic ability,enriching teachers' teaching content,improving classroom teaching efficiency,and providing emotional education carriers.However,in the actual teaching process,the textbook illustrations did not play their due value.Therefore,it is necessary to make an in-depth discussion on the theme of ''Research on the Application of Illustration in High School Ideological and Political Textbook''.Taking the illustrations of the sixth edition of the high school ideological and political textbooks of the People's Education Press in April 2018 as the carrier,this issue uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,classroom observation method,and case analysis method.Starting with introducing the related concepts of textbook illustrations,the theoretical basis,types,and values of high school ideological and political textbook illustrations are described,to clarify the importance of textbook illustrations in high school ideological and political teaching.After investigating and analyzing the current use of high school ideological and political textbook illustrations,it is found that there are some problems in the actual use of textbook illustrations,the main manifestations are teachers have not fully used textbook illustration resources and have not combined actual development of textbook illustration resources,students have not pay attention to illustrations and improper reading methods.The reasons for these problems are outdated teachers' teaching concepts and inadequate teaching ability,students are used to passive learning and deviations in values.The solution to these problems depends on optimizing strategies such as following the principles of applying high school ideological and political textbook illustrations,improving teachers' skills in using textbook illustrations,and training students' ability to interpret textbook illustrations.On this basis,take the teaching content "Uncovering the Mystery of Money" in the high school ideological and political textbook "Economic Life" as an example,compile corresponding teaching examples,carry out teaching implementation in the class and test the teaching effect,and strive to achieve the integration of theoretical analysis and teaching practice.
