Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Sense Of Social Responsibility In The New Era

As a basic standard of human nature,responsibility has different connotations and interpretations in different historical periods and development horizons of human society,and also plays a positive role in promoting social development.In recent years,General Secretary Xi Jinping has put forward a series of important discussions on China’s higher education,emphasizing the priority of developing education and implementing the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating talents.He also mentioned the "responsibility" of young college students for many times,giving it new connotation of The Times.College students in the new era,as the main force of social development,undertake the important mission of reviving the Chinese dream.Under the call of academic theory and the need of realistic environment,it is particularly important for colleges and universities to cultivate college students’ sense of social responsibility.College students’ sense of social responsibility is the cognitive judgment made in the context of social responsibility,and the emotion of responsibility responsibility formed on the basis of it.Catalyzed by the firm will of responsibility responsibility,it is finally transformed into the process of responsibility practice.In combination with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the responsibility of youth in the new era,this paper summarizes college students’ sense of responsibility for family,collective,family,self and future,and deeply analyzes its cultivation status through questionnaire survey and interview.The research shows that the mainstream of college students’ social responsibility consciousness is positive,but there are also shortcomings,which are manifested as:college students’ lack of cognition of social responsibility,unfirm will,and "different knowledge and practice" of responsibility bearing behavior.At the same time,in the process of cultivation,there are also some problems such as lack of unity of cultivation goal,lack of practicality of cultivation content and lack of diversity of cultivation approaches.Therefore,in order to solve the existing problems,it is necessary to explore the cultivation path to enhance college students’ sense of social responsibility:to create a good social environment for them,improve the responsibility cultivation system of colleges and universities,create an atmosphere for family responsibility education,improve college students’ self-education level,so as to gradually improve college students’ sense of social responsibility.In a word,cultivating college students’ sense of social responsibility requires the cooperation of society,colleges and families to create a good external environment for them and realize their educational function.At the same time,college students also need to strengthen self-education,improve their own moral cultivation,to bear in the experience of setbacks in the growth.
