| China is a big manufacturing country,and the logistics and transportation industry occupies a pivotal position in the development of China’s manufacturing industry.Among them,road transportation is the main mode of logistics transportation.With the rapid development of Internet e-commerce economy,tens of millions of truck drivers bear the heavy responsibility of road transportation.They travel day and night on the way of cargo transportation,meeting our needs of "food,clothing,housing and transportation" and promoting the development of our national economy.However,truck drivers seem like scattered atoms,which are difficult to integrate into the society in terms of economy,interpersonal,social life and health.The society often has a stereotype of truck drivers,ignoring their social integration.It was not until the COVID-19 epidemic broke out in the whole country in 2020 that the neglected group of truck drivers gradually came into the public’s view.They actively participate in the transportation of goods and materials and are known as "rebels" under the epidemic.However,in the era of epidemic,the problem of social integration faced by those who work hard and live hard is more prominent.If they want to integrate into the society,they need to be empowered.The current academic research on truck drivers mainly focuses on the macro structure and policy changes,but caring for truck drivers needs more support from civil society.This research adopts research methods such as field survey,participation observation,interview,etc.,with the empowerment theory as the analysis framework,and focuses on the first "A" public welfare project established by CH Charity Foundation in 2017 to serve truck drivers through the Internet platform.The project uses the Internet to develop exclusive APP,build an Internet support platform for truck drivers,establish a virtual community organization for online truck drivers,and cultivate the public welfare spirit of truck drivers.Although the "A" project has created an open space and environment for truck drivers to help them achieve personal growth and development.However,the project is mainly based on basic services,which is difficult to meet the personalized needs of service objects.Through analysis,"A" project contains social work related elements in project objectives,service plans,service concepts,etc.The author took this opportunity to participate in the project service process of CH Charity Foundation as a social work intern.The service content includes: providing psychological consultation for truck drivers based on the Internet platform,planning online theme activities,transmitting policy and regulatory information,and writing and disseminating examples of truck drivers’ public welfare assistance.At the same time,based on the new empowerment needs of truck drivers,we designed and carried out offline group services with the theme of "Caring for Kava and" benefiting "to grow together".This research will analyze the process of "A" project and social work participating in Internet platform service empowering truck drivers according to the empowerment subject,process,level and model in the empowerment practice model.Based on the summary and reflection of "A" project services and social work participation services,the following suggestions are put forward: First,optimize the empowerment practice mode and enrich the empowerment implementation content;The second is to improve the Internet platform service and supervision mechanism,and the third is to jointly participate in the empowerment process to help truck drivers better integrate into society. |
