| In the information age, individuals gradually transform into "information man" who can clearly identify their own information needs, keenly capture the information they need, look at problems from the perspective of information, skillfully use computers and related software, follow the principle of least effort in information psychology, avoid laborious, complex and unfamiliar methods, and use easy, simple and familiar ways to find, store and use information, but it is also faced with the problems of larger and larger information collection, fragmented storage of information, and unable to find some information in time.In addition to completing course knowledge learning and scientific research writing, college students are also exposed to a large amount of entertainment and news information. They use roughly similar or different ways to save their information in multiple locations or multiple applications. However, due to the large amount of information, storage disorder, information deletion by mistake, storage device loss and other reasons,it is increasingly difficult for college students to find previously saved information in the growing personal information space. This paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to study the information re-finding behavior in the personal information space of college students. In the grounded theory stage, college students were selected to carry out semi-structured interviews to understand the information content, information storage mode and information re-finding mode stored in the personal information space of college students. The grounded theory method was used to encode the interview text and extracted seven influencing factors, named affective load, personal behavior attitude, information importance perception, self efficacy, information re-finding motivation, behavior intention and task environment, and constructed the influencing factor model. In the descriptive statistical analysis stage, the corresponding questionnaire items were designed according to the influencing factors, and SPSS was used for reliability and validity test and data analysis. The independent sample t-test analysis results showed that there were gender differences in information importance perception, self efficacy, information re-finding motivation and task environment. The one-way ANOVA results showed that there were age differences in information importance perception and information re-finding motivation, while individual behavior attitude, information importance perception and information re-finding motivation were different in educational background. In the verification model stage,Smart PLS was used to verify and analyze the research hypothesis. The verification results show that information re-finding motivation positively affects information importance perception, personal behavior attitude positively affects affective load, information importance perception positively affects behavior intention, affective load positively affects behavior intention, self efficacy positively affects behavior intention, and task environment positively affects behavior intention. Finally, this paper gives suggestions from four aspects: improving information literacy, creating a good personal information space, increasing the use of information tools, improving and designing a simple and easy to operate information re-finding system, hoping to provide some help for college students to quickly find the information they need when they re-finding information. |
