The research on the construction of robotics engineering majors is of great significance in meeting the future talent needs of related industries,promoting industrial development and economic progress,enhancing national scientific and technological strength,and solving the problem of scientific and technological "necks".Although the construction method based on expert seminars has made certain achievements in the construction of traditional engineering disciplines,robotics engineering is a new engineering discipline with a more complex professional knowledge system and blurred disciplinary boundaries than traditional engineering disciplines,and the discipline of robotics engineering develops rapidly and changes greatly.Therefore,this paper proposes a knowledge mapping and deep learning-based professional construction method for robotics engineering to support experts in making professional construction decisions.Firstly,through the analysis of the construction needs of robotics engineering majors,a multi-source data selection and retrieval scheme is developed.By collating and analysing patents,theses,job requirements and existing training programmes,the lack of effective data support in the traditional professional development process was remedied.Secondly,the multi-source data of patents,dissertations,job requirements and training programmes are mined to construct a professional knowledge competence system for robotics engineering,and to achieve the definition of disciplinary boundaries and the division of knowledge units.At the same time,a robotics engineering expertise map is constructed based on the above-mentioned content to realize the visual representation of multi-dimensional information of robotics engineering majors and effectively support experts in making decisions on the construction of majors.Finally,a predictive classification model is constructed based on the knowledge map representation to complete the prediction of key technologies of robotics engineering majors and their evaluation and classification as research-oriented undergraduate teaching contents.In addition,this method can also be applied to other majors in the construction of "New Engineering" to provide decision support for experts in the construction of majors.
