Research On The Path Of National Security Consciousness Cultivation Of College Students In The New Era

Throughout history,rulers of all countries and dynasties have faced the national security issues of dynastic change,foreign invasion and internal unrest.As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the issue of national security has received unprecedented attention,and the cultivation of national security awareness has increasingly shown its value.At present,the overall national security awareness of the people is increasing,but there are still problems such as uneven cognitive level and insufficient ability to prevent risks in new areas,especially young university students,as the youngest bloodline of the motherland,are unable to see the difficulties,challenges and threats facing national security in the midst of the complicated international relations,and lack the sharpness to safeguard national security and interests.Therefore,as a platform for moral education,universities should guide university students to look at the achievements and problems of China’s reform and development in a dialectical and comprehensive manner,and continuously enhance their national security awareness and literacy.Taking ideological and political education as the research perspective,this paper investigates the current situation of national security awareness among college students in five representative colleges and universities in Shanxi Province through the methods of questionnaire survey,case study and literature research.On the basis of scientific statistical analysis of the data related to the questionnaire,countermeasures for the cultivation of national security awareness among university students in the new era are proposed.Firstly,the concepts and theoretical foundations of national security awareness among university students in the new era were sorted out by reviewing the literature,and the important value of cultivating national security awareness among university students in the context of the new era was discussed.Secondly,based on the systematic analysis of the questionnaire on "the current situation of national security awareness among university students in the new era",the current situation of national security awareness among university students in the new era is clarified.Again,the challenges faced by the cultivation of national security awareness among university students in the new era,the results achieved and the outstanding problems existed are further discussed.Finally,taking the overall concept of national security as the basic guideline,the effective path of cultivating national security awareness among university students in the new era is proposed from the perspectives of cultivation objectives,cultivation contents,cultivation methods and cultivation fields.
