Labor education plays a crucial role in advancing the whole-round development of students.In recent years,the state has issued a series of documents and made specific arrangements for labor education.Rural primary schools have unique geographical environment and natural resources.To investigate and understand the current situation of labor education curriculum construction in rural primary schools is an important prerequisite and basis for exploring the construction of labor education curriculum in rural primary schools.By using the literature research method and consulting the relevant literature on the construction of labor education curriculum,it is found that the research on the construction of labor education curriculum is very meaningful,but the academic community lacks attention to the construction of labor education curriculum in rural primary schools.Using the method of questionnaire survey and random sampling,this paper investigated five rural primary schools in Sichuan Province,and combined with interviews with the principals,teachers,students and parents of primary school C,found that:(1)in terms of curriculum awareness,most teachers can recognize the importance of the development of labor education curriculum,but there are still a few students who are apathetic and lack comprehensive understanding;(2)In terms of curriculum objectives,most teachers and students agree that the curriculum objectives are to cultivate students’ core quality of labor curriculum,but a few students have a simple understanding of the curriculum objectives,and it is not easy to link labor education with the promotion of creativity;(3)In terms of curriculum content,most schools have relatively complete curriculum content of labor education,but there are still a few rural primary schools with limitations in the selection of curriculum content of labor education;(4)In terms of curriculum implementation,most schools basically ensure that there is no less than one class hour per week,equipped with full-time teachers,and organized and implemented through various courses and practical activities,but there are also problems such as class hours being occupied,teachers’ enthusiasm for teaching is not high,and off-campus practice is not sufficient;(5)In terms of curriculum evaluation,although most teachers actively explore innovative evaluation methods,there are still problems such as students’ weak awareness of self-evaluation and inadequate evaluation and motivation.In view of the problems found in the process of investigation and field investigation,the research believes that the main reasons for the poor effect of the labor education curriculum construction in rural primary schools are insufficient policy inclination,the absence of the main body of the school curriculum construction,the heavy resistance of teachers,the indifference of students’ attitude,the insufficient resources development,the parents’ lack of attention,and the misleading of social bad ideas.In view of the shortcomings and limitations,the following countermeasures are proposed: first,call on the government to increase support,increase policy preferences and resource investment;The second is to clarify the principles of rural primary school labor education curriculum construction,including purpose,regional,normative and collaborative.Third,through the cooperation of family,school and society,we should constantly improve the specific framework of curriculum construction,including setting the goal of rural primary school labor education curriculum reasonably,enriching and innovating the content of rural primary school labor education curriculum,standardizing and organizing the implementation of rural primary school labor education curriculum,and improving the evaluation of rural primary school labor education curriculum.At the end of the study,three curriculum cases were designed to show the specific patterns of labor education curriculum in rural primary schools and promote the implementation of labor education curriculum.
