It is of great significance to build a scientific,reasonable and objective evaluation index system and evaluate the teaching ability level of coaches of volleyball characteristic schools,which is of great significance to improve the teaching quality of volleyball characteristic schools.In this study,the teaching ability of coaches of Chengdu volleyball characteristic school was taken as the research object,and the interview method,literature method,mathematical statistics method,etc.,combined with Delphi method and analytic hierarchy method,were used to carry out expert questionnaires for evaluation indicators,and the weight of indicators was assigned and the rationality of the matrix was judged,and finally a scientific and reasonable three-level evaluation index scale was formulated.In order to test the feasibility and operability of the constructed evaluation index scale,the practical application and evaluation of volleyball coaches of Chengdu volleyball characteristic schools and the analysis results are carried out,and after analysis,it is proved that the scale can truly and accurately reflect the actual situation of the coaching ability of coaches of primary and secondary volleyball characteristic schools in Chengdu,help coaches understand their shortcomings and shortcomings,improve their coaching ability in a targeted manner,and also provide theoretical reference for the selection of outstanding volleyball coaches in campus volleyball characteristic schools.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The evaluation index of volleyball coaches in Chengdu characteristic schools includes three first-level indicators,including teaching training,education management,and knowledge structure;13 secondary indicators,including teaching and training implementation,teaching training design,teaching training evaluation feedback,daily management,teaching and training management,game command,coaches’ own quality,volleyball professional knowledge,etc.;55 three-level indicators,including demonstration explanation,design of teaching and training content,classroom evaluation,volleyball skills and tactics evaluation,sports experience,cutting-edge knowledge of volleyball discipline,etc.(2)The weight coefficients of the evaluation index of coaches of Chengdu volleyball characteristic school are as follows: the weight of the first-level index is,from high to low:teaching and training ability,knowledge structure,and education management ability.The highest weight in the secondary indicators is the ability to implement teaching and training,which has an important position in the entire evaluation system.Among the secondary indicators under teaching and training ability,the weights in descending order are: teaching training implementation,teaching training design,teaching training evaluation feedback,teaching training concept innovation,and student comprehensive quality evaluation.Among the secondary indicators under the knowledge structure,the weights in descending order are:basic knowledge of sports,professional knowledge of volleyball,and cognition of volleyball coaching philosophy.Among the secondary indicators under education management ability,the weights in descending order are: teaching and training management,competition command ability,coaches’ own quality,daily management ability,and communication and coordination ability.Among the three-level indicators,the proportion of explanations and demonstrations is the highest,which is an important factor in evaluating the coaching ability of coaches.(3)After empirical research,the scores of coaches of three schools in Chengdu Northwest Middle School,Xindu District Sheng’an Middle School,and Sichuan University Affiliated Middle School Xincheng Branch have reached more than 90 points,reaching the excellent standard,and the coaches of the remaining 7 primary and secondary schools have also scored between 80-89 points,which is in the good standard range.The conclusions drawn with reference to the actual situation and personal evaluation of coaches in each school are consistent with the results obtained from the evaluation scale of primary and secondary school coaches,and clearly reflect the advantages and shortcomings of coaches from a quantitative perspective,which proves that the evaluation index system of coaches of Chengdu volleyball characteristic schools has certain accuracy and scientificity.(4)The construction of the evaluation index of coaches’ teaching ability provides reference and reference for coaches to improve their own quality,improve their teaching ability and school selection,assessment and evaluation of coaches.Coaches can refer to the evaluation indicators,learn from each other’s strengths on the basis of improving their professional skills,especially strengthen their own teaching and training capabilities,and promote the comprehensive development of volleyball coaches’ comprehensive quality.
