| China has fulfilled the solemn commitment of "Green Olympics" by taking practical actions-adhering to ecological priority,resource conservation and environmental friendliness,and contributing to the Chinese plan to achieve the goal of "double carbon" and promote the solution of climate change.Beijing 2022 has become the first winter Olympics to achieve "carbon neutrality" so far.The carbon emission process of ski tourism is significantly different from that of other tourism.Ski tourism occupies mountain resources,has a high level of vegetation coverage,and has the inherent advantage of taking the lead in achieving low-carbon development.At the same time,upgrading equipment and ski site maintenance in ski tourism require more energy consumption,and more precise carbon emission paths need to be explored to reduce the carbon emission level of ski tourism.Promoting the transformation of traditional ski tourism to a low-carbon development model is the only way to deal with climate change and ecological environment damage,and also an important measure to promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure of modern tourism and realize the sustainable and high-quality development of tourism economy.This paper comprehensively combs the research results on carbon emission accounting and its driving factors of tourism at home and abroad,differentiates and analyzes the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of research,and systematically collects the first-hand information on the development of snow skiing tourism in Chongli District,through field research and interviews with relevant industry entities in practice.We have innovatively constructed a "top-down" and "bottom-up" input-output table combined with the enterprise data to measure the carbon emissions of ski tourism,and analyzed the carbon emission level of Chongli ski resort and its four operating departments,namely catering,skiing,wholesale and retail,leasing and business services.Based on the consultation with experts such as low-carbon tourism scholars and ski resort construction,management and operation professionals,identify the potential drivers of ski tourism and various operating departments,and screen out the drivers of ski tourism and various operating departments through correlation analysis and single indicator regression analysis.The least squares method is used to analyze the direction and intensity of the driving factors of carbon emissions from ski tourism and various operating departments,and to explore the driving mechanism of carbon emissions from ski tourism.On the basis of the above research,this paper puts forward suggestions on the low-carbon and high-quality development of ski tourism.The main conclusions of the study including:(1)The carbon emissions of the four business sectors of ski tourism and catering,skiing,wholesale and retail,leasing and business services in Chongli ski resort show seasonal changes,and the overall trend is increasing year by year.(2)The supply level of local low-carbon ski products in Chongli has been continuously improved,and the low-carbon development model has been continuously improved,and it is expected to take the lead in achieving the dual-carbon goal.(3)We should adhere to the development principles of ecological priority,green development,optimizing the system,guiding environmental protection,energy conservation and emission reduction,low carbon consumption,technological innovation and efficient utilization,and fully release the driving force of ski tourism’s natural endowment,market scale effect,festival effect and capital effect on the low carbon development of ski tourism.This study is going to provid scientific reference for the low-carbon development of ski tourism and ski resort tourism in China. |
