| In 2021,the General Office of the Central Government issued the "Suggestions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Off-School Training for Students in Compulsory Education".The "double reduction" policy was introduced aiming to reduce the academic burden of students and to improve the efficiency and quality of teaching. The main front of the teaching reform is in the classroom,so the improvement of quality and efficiency should be implemented in the classroom. In order to further deepen the teaching reform, implement the "double reduction" policy, give full play to the main role of students, inspire students to actively explore new knowledge, build a knowledge framework, reduce the academic burden of students and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching,Panjin City Education Bureau proposed a "Six Steps and Two Loops Classroom Teaching Model".This teaching model is a universal model to all subjects, and it is not clear how to apply this model effectively to mathematics classroom. In this paper,we study the application and implementation effects of this teaching model in mathematics classroom teaching with the characteristics of mathematics, aiming to improve the efficiency of mathematics classroom and promote students’ development. This study has two components: firstly,to examine the connotation, implementation principles and steps of the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching model.Secondly,to test the effectiveness of the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching model in the junior high school mathematics classroom through an experimental research method, using the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching model in the experimental class and the didactic teaching model in the control class, and a pre-test and post-perception questionnaire was used to understand the changes in students’ learning concepts and independent learning ability before and after the implementation of the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching mode, and the changes in students’ learning performance before and after the implementation of the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching mode were compared and analyzed through the pre-test and post-test mathematics scores. The study concluded that the application of the "Six Steps and Two Loops" teaching model in junior high school mathematics classrooms could improve students’ mathematics learning concepts and independent learning ability, and reached a significant level;although it could improve students’ mathematics performance,it did not reach a significant level. |
