The "four steps" teaching model of this study,which is based on the characteristics of the physical and mental development of high school students in the new era,is the innovative exploration of the teaching mode under the concept of quality education in promoting the tide of quality education.This model of classroom teaching steps include: self-learning,cooperative inquiry,intensive teaching,consolidation and expansion of four major steps.The teaching model is based on the transformation of students' main position,so that students can develop active and active learning habits,cultivate various abilities,and promote the all-round development of each student.This paper comprehensively analyzes the current situation of the reform of teaching model at home and abroad by means of literature research,and summarizes some relevant theoretical research results.Through the method of questionnaire and case study,the corresponding conclusions are drawn according to the students' classroom performance,grades,and the results of the double questionnaire survey of teachers and students.This study was put forward in the environment of Lin fen Experimental Middle School in 2014 and began to implement the "four steps" teaching with biology teaching.Since the school began to carry out,researchers have been actively studying,assiduously studying,and have been experimenting and groping in senior high school biology teaching.Through several years of exploration experience and the results of this study,we can draw the following conclusions : " four steps " teaching model can improve students' ability of independent learning and independent thinking,team cooperation,problem analysis and problem-solving;the teaching effect of "four steps" teaching model is obvious;" four steps " teaching model is operable.In the process of implementing the teaching model of the four steps,there are still some shortcomings :(1)the scope of application of the "four steps" teaching model has certain limitations;(2)in teaching practice,it is always worried that cooperative communication and inquiry activities will waste lecture time;(3)whether the "four steps" teaching model will take the road of formalism;(4)how to evaluate the improvement of students' various abilities in the implementation.Based on many years of teaching experience and the experience of implementing the four steps model in schools,the researchers put forward some feasible improvement measures.
