With the further development of education information technology is more and more commonly used in education teaching.New ideas,new technologies and new equipment have gradually entered the rural campus,which will inevitably bring about an educational revolution.Information technology application ability is a necessary professional ability for teachers in the information society.Under the background of the balanced development of compulsory education,IT application ability of rural teachers plays a very important role in promoting the balanced development of education.Therefore,it is urgent to study the current situation and improvement strategies of rural primary school teachers’ information technology application ability.This study takes "rural primary school teachers in M County,Han Zhong City" as the survey object and "rural primary school teachers’ information technology application ability" as the research entry point,conducts in-depth research from four aspects:theoretical construction,current situation investigation,problem analysis and Promotion strategy.From the perspective of a first-line primary school teacher,this paper studies the current situation of information technology application ability of rural primary school teachers.First of all,by combing relevant literature to understand the current research status of rural teachers’ information technology application ability at home and abroad,analyze the research trend of rural school teachers’ information technology application ability,define the two core concepts of rural teachers and information technology application ability,and determine the research theories as teacher professional development theory,lifelong learning theory,Humanistic learning theory and educational equity theory.Secondly,we fully understand the current situation through questionnaires and interviews information technology application ability of330 primary school teachers in 20 remote rural schools in M County,Hanzhong City.After in-depth analysis of the survey data,the author analyzes the situation from five dimensions:technical literacy,planning and preparation,organization and management,evaluation and diagnosis,learning development.In view of the existing problems,the author puts forward the solution strategies: full learning to improve teachers’ information literacy;Strengthen the leadership,promote the development of school information;Construction of private network,create teacher application environment;Special training to help teachers develop resources;Vigorously build,create resource sharing platform;Open up a path to comprehensively improve the quality of training;Improve the level,establish teachers electronic archives;Promote reflection and build teacher development space.Through improving the teacher evaluation system and providing information special subsidy funds to stimulate the application motivation of teachers.Through the joint efforts of education authorities at all levels,schools and teachers,we can jointly promote the comprehensive improvement of rural school teachers’ application ability of information technology.
