| With the advancement of science and technology,more innovative talents with high order thinking ability are needed in the society.In physics teaching,cultivating students’ high order thinking ability has become a research focus.Researches show that classroom teaching is the most effective way for teachers to consciously develop students’ higher-order thinking ability.As an important class type,exercise class is essential in physics teaching.How to develop students’ higher-order thinking ability in physics exercise teaching of senior high school is also an important topic worth studying at present.The main work of this study is as follows:First,the literature research method is used to define the components of the higher-order thinking ability in physics as decision-making ability,critical thinking ability,problem solving ability and creative thinking ability.Combined with the evaluation method of physics advanced thinking ability,the “Physics advanced thinking Ability test Paper” was compiled,the evaluation standard of the test question was optimized by using SOLO classification evaluation theory,and samples were selected to test the advanced thinking ability in Grade One of S senior high school.The SPSS software was used to analyze the test results,and it was concluded that the physical higher-order thinking ability of the test samples was below the medium level.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview method are adopted to find out the problems existing in the cultivation of higher order thinking ability in the teaching of physics exercise class.First,teachers only attach importance to the imparting of knowledge to students,ignoring the cultivation of students’ higher order thinking ability in physics.Second,the teaching design and teaching method of physics exercise are relatively simple,and the types of physics exercise are lack of diversity.Finally,based on the problems found in the investigation and relevant theories,the teaching improvement strategies are proposed from the three stages: before class,during class and after class of the physics exercise teaching,aiming at cultivating students’ higher-order thinking ability such as decision-making ability,critical thinking ability,problem solving ability and creative thinking ability.In addition,the teaching cases of exercises— “The Law of Projectile Motion” and “Free Falling Motion” are designed,and the teaching practice is carried out.It is found that by creating situations,building models and strengthening mathematical methods,students’ participation can be enhanced,students’ dominant position can be highlighted,and the development of students’ higher order thinking ability in physics can be promoted. |
