Developing quality education and cultivating innovative talents are the requirements for talent training in the new era.The education at the high school stage bears the important task of implementing quality education and cultivating talents,and is a key stage for innovative consciousness,innovative thinking,and comprehensive quality improvement.High school chemistry teaching undertakes the important mission of developing students’ core literacy in chemistry.Therefore,cultivating chemistry core literacy is the most concerned issue in the current high school chemistry classroom,and creating problem situations is an important means of classroom teaching and an important way to cultivate core literacy.The study first reviews the research status and theoretical basis of problem context creation and chemistry core literacy at home and abroad through literature research method,defines the connotation of problem context and chemical core literacy,and then understands the current core literacy level of high school students in a city in Heilongjiang Province and the current situation of problem situation teaching in chemistry classroom creation through student questionnaires and teacher interviews,and finds that there is still room for improvement in the overall level of core literacy of high school students,and there is a certain correlation between the current situation of problem situation teaching and core literacy level.In schools where problem-based situation teaching is well implemented,the level of students’ core literacy is also higher.The corresponding level of students’ core literacy is also higher.Based on this,this paper puts forward the strategy of creating problem situations from the perspective of implementing core literacy,and systematically designs and implements teaching practices for the first compulsory textbook of the People’s Education Edition.The experimental results show that the use of problem situation strategy for teaching has different degrees of improvement of the core literacy level of high school students at different levels,and the use of problem situation strategy for teaching is an effective way to improve the core literacy level of students.
