Modern poetry is a kind of indispensable works in Chinese teaching materials.It has the genre characteristics of carrying the ancient and modern times,with both historical and cultural flavor and style of the new era.Under the social keynote of advocating cultural self-confidence,emphasizing the comprehensive needs of talent training and the cultivation of core Chinese qualities,the reading of modern poetry needs to be paid attention to in Chinese reading teaching.At present,there is a certain diversity of research on the teaching of modern poetry reading,which mainly focuses on the teaching exploration of images,artistic conception,main ideas and other aspects of modern poetry.There are also many scholars who interpret modern poetry based on different theories or ideological bases,such as the perspective of defamiliarization,emotional experience and aesthetic education,core Chinese literacy,etc.It has important reference value and enlightening significance for the continuous study of modern poetry reading teaching.However,the existing research results are limited to the modular segmentation of modern poetry,which divides the integrity of poetry works and reduces the teaching value of modern poetry to a certain extent.Ingarden’s theory of text hierarchy attaches importance to readers’ active reading under the external level and emphasizes the holistic reading of literary works.Therefore,this study intends to apply the relevant contents of this theory to the teaching of modern poetry reading,try to explore the teaching value of this theory,explore new teaching strategies,and finally point to the development of students’ literacy.Based on the existing achievements,this paper firstly summarizes the basic content and characteristics of Ingardon’s text hierarchy theory,and explains and defines the modern poetry works studied in this paper,so as to clarify the characteristics of the modern poetry genre.Secondly,it analyzes the feasibility of combining theory with practice,mainly exploring the application value of Ingarden’s theory of text hierarchy,and the suitability of the theory combined with modern poetry reading teaching,so as to grasp the convergence point of the two.At the same time,the author sorted out and analyzed the current situation of students’ learning of modern poetry by means of questionnaire survey,pointed out the current situation of cognition flat,improper grasp of teaching focus and lack of vitality in the classroom in modern poetry reading teaching,and made a further analysis of the above problems.From the aspects of the overall environment of education,teachers’ own development and the existing misunderstandings of teaching,the author thinks about the direction of the revision and polishing of modern poetry teaching.On the basis of the above contents,the author further explores the specific application of Ingarden’s text hierarchy theory in the teaching of modern poetry reading.Firstly,the application principles of the theory are clarified,secondly,the teaching objectives of modern poetry are optimized and clarified,and finally,specific teaching strategies are explored based on the above contents.Firstly,the teaching content is optimized based on the theory of modern poetry.Secondly,turn to the whole teaching idea of modern poetry from inside to outside,thinking about the whole structure of teaching;In addition,in line with the purpose of students first,explore the path of deep learning and try to create,to cultivate students’ various qualities;Finally,based on the emphasis of the new curriculum standard reform on cultural confidence,the author thinks about the implementation strategy of the cultural edification task of modern poetry teaching.Then,based on the above strategies and thoughts,the author carried out modern poetry teaching practice.The teaching department compiled the modern poetry "The Street in Heaven" in Unit 6 of the seventh grade Chinese Volume.Through a variety of activities and ways of presentation,students were allowed to feel the charm of modern poetry in active participation,and conducted reflection and summary after class to optimize this study.To sum up,the author hopes that the above research can play a certain role in the study of modern poetry reading teaching.
