Poetry reading is an important component of middle school Chinese reading teaching,and modern poetry reading is an indispensable part of it.At present,in the teaching of modern poetry,there is a lack of emphasis on the teaching of modern poetry,which is determined by exams;Neglecting text interpretation and formalizing the teaching process;Neglecting students as the main body and lacking students’ reading experience are urgent issues that need to be addressed.The text strata theory text hierarchy breaks through the traditional form of literary works-the theory of content dichotomy,providing us with a new theoretical perspective to examine literary works.The textual structure of modern poetry consists of five heterogeneous,independent and interdependent levels,namely the phonological and phonological level,the meaning construction level,the image and artistic conception level,the ideological and emotional level,and the stylistic norms level.These five levels form a sub three-dimensional textual whole from the outside to the inside,interconnected and interconnected.In the interpretation and teaching of modern poetry texts,teachers can artistically observe,analyze,and grasp modern poetry texts based on the theory of text hierarchy.They can recite and perceive the rhythm of modern poetry at the level of language and rhyme;Analyzing words at the level of meaning construction and experiencing the meaning of poetry;Grasping imagery and creating artistic conception at the level of imagery and artistic conception;Deeply savor and comprehend emotions at the ideological and emotional level;Exploring the standardization of literary style and expanding and improving it.In order to guide students to more effectively understand the deep connotations and unique aesthetic feelings of modern poetry texts.This paper explores the reading teaching of modern Chinese poetry in middle school from the perspective of text hierarchy theory,using two research methods: literature research method and case analysis method.This study helps to enrich the reading teaching theory of modern poetry in middle schools,standardize the reading teaching mode of modern poetry texts,and provide new ideas and strategies for modern poetry reading teaching.
