| Since the 18 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has delivered speeches on ideological and political education on a number of occasions,fully reflecting the importance the Party Central Committee attaches to the work of ideological and political education.For example,at a symposium for teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools held in 2019,he stressed that ideological and political theory courses are the key courses for implementing the fundamental task of building a moral character.It has created a good social environment for ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and set off a boom in the study of ideological and political education of college students.Based on this background,the author has chosen the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for university students as the object of this thesis.As a cultural product,melodramatic films not only meet the requirements of the mainstream ideology of society,but also have a lively form and multiple connotations,and contain rich ideological and political education values,and can meet the needs of college students for diversified forms of education.The integration of the nurturing function of melodramatic films into the ideological and political education of university students is also a positive response to the fundamental purpose of establishing moral education.In the first chapter,on the basis of sorting out the concepts related to the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for college students,we start from defining the connotation,characteristics and classification of melodramatic films,focus on the ideological and political education function of college students carried by melodramatic films and analyze the relationship between melodramatic films and ideological and political education function,and further argue the necessity and feasibility of studying the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films.It further demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of studying the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for university students.The second chapter discusses the effectiveness of the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for university students,the problems of deviations in the production quality and propaganda of melodramatic films,the low interest of university students in melodramatic films,the poor effect of externalization of melodramatic films by university students after viewing them,the poor fit between ideological and political education of university students and melodramatic films,and the diversion of the audience of melodramatic films due to the rapid development of the Internet.The causes of these five problems are analyzed: the limitations of melodramatic films in terms of their educational function,the changing environment of university students’ growth,the insufficient use of the function of melodramatic films in the ideological and political education of universities,and the lack of government supervision of the film and television production market.Chapter 3 proposes corresponding countermeasures for the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for university students from three levels: the creation of melodramatic films should enhance ideology and artistry,university students should independently draw nutrition from melodramatic films,and universities should fully explore the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films.This study aims to improve the effectiveness of melodramatic films in the ideological and political education of college students,enrich the ways and methods of ideological and political education of college students,and provide reference for the study of the ideological and political education function of melodramatic films for college students. |
