| An excellent basketball referee is a guarantee for the smooth progress of basketball matches,and also a huge assistance for the development of basketball.With the vigorous development of sports in China,various universities are also continuously increasing their emphasis on sports.More and more universities are planning to introduce basketball referee elective courses,providing more scientific training models to enhance the understanding and level of college basketball referees.The study investigated the cultivation of college basketball referees in Shaanxi Province by using sociological research methods such as literature review,survey,mathematical statistics,and analyzed the problems in the current cultivation process.On this basis,it proposed optimization strategies in the cultivation process,hoping to contribute to the cultivation of college basketball referees in Shaanxi Province.The research is conducted from three perspectives: the current basic situation,academic examination status,and training mode of college students in Shaanxi Province;By means of questionnaire collection,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and other methods,the students in various colleges and universities are divided vertically and horizontally according to their grades and regions.Based on the investigation,the following main conclusions were drawn:(1)The number of basketball referees for college students in various universities in Shaanxi Province is relatively small,and only a few have obtained the first and second level basketball referee level certificates,resulting in a serious shortage of high-level basketball referees.(2)The main reasons for the insufficient number of college basketball referees in Shaanxi Province are the relatively single training method,limited high-level training courses,and insufficient training faculty.(3)The main reasons for the low comprehensive ability of college basketball referees are the lack of practical opportunities,insufficient adaptability and low level of on-the-spot referee.(4)Currently,college students in Shaanxi Province who love basketball have a strong desire to become basketball referees,and it is necessary to offer relevant basketball elective courses.(5)The learning and proficiency of English have become the main reason for the current promotion of college referees.(6)There is a large difference in the proportion of gender involved in the training of basketball referees.The number of girls is relatively small,but their attitude is more positive.Based on the survey,the following suggestions are proposed:(1)Improve the grading training system and increase the training efforts for potential and interested referees.(2)Through the organization of the campus basketball association,each college organizes basketball matches within the school as a unit,increasing the number of basketball matches,in order to provide practical opportunities for more student referees and improve the level of sanctions.(3)Each university formulates training strategies based on the actual situation of their own school,clearly specifies the training cycle and grading system,optimizes training content and textbooks,adopts a combination of online and offline modes,and combines multimedia equipment to improve training efficiency.(4)Strengthen the promotion of the basketball referee club,attract more outstanding talents,and promote the establishment of basketball referee elective courses,so that more students can understand basketball referees,and appropriately offer expert lectures.(5)In the context of the integration of physical education and education,we will strengthen the cultivation of students’ English proficiency,utilize bilingual teaching or carry out basketball competitions mainly focused on English communication,and provide corresponding rewards to help students improve their English proficiency.(6)Increase the proportion of female basketball referees and consciously increase the passing rate of female basketball referees;Invite high-level female basketball referees to give lectures as a role model;Organize women’s basketball matches on campus to attract more girls to participate. |
