With the increasing popularization of education in current society,the common development concept of education in the whole society has become an important factor in promoting social development.However,in the context of digitalization,junior high school mathematics teaching is facing new challenges and opportunities.This article aims to analyze the current situation of junior high school mathematics teaching and explore how to achieve the common educational concept of the whole society.Firstly,this article introduces the concept of junior high school mathematics teaching.Junior high school mathematics teaching should focus on cultivating students’ mathematical thinking ability and practical problem-solving ability.At the same time,teachers should use different teaching strategies according to students’ different characteristics,stimulate students’ interest and self-confidence,and enable students to learn mathematics in a pleasant atmosphere.Subsequently,this article discusses the support of constructivist theory of education for junior high school mathematics teaching.Constructivism believes that students are the subject of learning and should construct knowledge through communication and collaboration with teachers and classmates.Therefore,in junior high school mathematics teaching,teachers should play the role of guide and facilitator,provide suitable learning environment and conditions for students,and enable students to learn and grow through cooperation.Next,this article analyzes the development status of current junior high school mathematics teaching through methods such as questionnaire survey,empirical research,and literature review.The study found that factors such as learning initiative,self-confidence in learning,communication and collaboration,teacher investment,teaching strategies,and teaching conditions have a positive impact on the effectiveness of junior high school mathematics teaching.At the same time,learning initiative has a positive impact on communication and collaboration and cooperation level,teacher investment has a positive impact on learning initiative,and cooperation level has a positive impact on learning initiative.Finally,this article proposes some suggestions,including strengthening the cultivation of students’ learning initiative and self-confidence,encouraging communication and collaboration among students,improving teacher investment and the flexibility of teaching strategies,and improving teaching conditions.These suggestions can provide references for the future development and improvement of junior high school mathematics teaching and contribute to the improvement and development of the overall education work in society.
