| The History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)clarifies the cultivation of core competencies in history subject and standardizes the whole process of history teaching.History homework is an important part of the history teaching process.Under the guidance of the new Curriculum Standards,history homework has the functions of both cultivating core competencies and evaluating the results of the cultivation.Thus,it has become a trend to design history homework oriented to core competencies.The paper includes five parts: the Introduction clarifies the reason and significance of the research,related research both at home and abroad and the method and the purpose of the research.The First Chapter explains relevant concepts.The Second Chapter,based on the new Curriculum Standards,designs two questionnaires and sorts the results.The Third Chapter analyzes the problem and the causes,and puts forward the solving measures.Finally,the Fourth Chapter,based on the current junior high history textbooks,designs examples of history homework.Hopefully,they can provide some insights for junior high history teachers in history homework design.Through the investigation of cultivation of core competencies of history subject in some middle schools in Baota District of Yan’an city and its surrounding area,it is found that there are still some difficulties in cultivating students’ core competencies with regard to homework.Five reasons are concluded: the guiding role of examination-oriented education is deeply rooted;it is rather difficult to cultivate the core competencies of history subject;requirements for homework design under the "double reduction" policy are higher;teachers lack experience in design of history homework that can fully reflect core competencies;junior high students have heavy schoolwork burden and low initiative in learning history.In view of the above problems,the following solutions are proposed:First,change the concept and adhere to the guidance of the core competencies.Under the overall planning of schools,both teachers and students should play an active role in homework design.Second,improve the quality of history homework under the guidance of the core competencies.History homework should set objectives according to the new Curriculum Standards,select content after fully studying the textbook,choose methods of finishing the homework based on the performance of the students,and innovate types of homework to improve the effectiveness of cultivating the core competencies.In addition,the results of the homework should be reflected in order to revise and improve the homework design.Finally,this paper designs core competencies oriented unit homework cases,so as to further optimize the design of history homework and improve the quality of history homework design,and provide references for junior high school history teachers to improve students’ core competencies. |
