Discipline core competencies are the important part of core competencies.Core competencies of chemistry fully demonstrates students’ essential qualities and key capabilities that can adapt to lifelong development and social development through learning chemistry courses.Chemical homework is an important part of the chemistry curriculum.At present,students’ mastery and understanding of knowledge had become the absolute goal of homework in our country.The chemistry homework is mostly text-based homework in high school,and lack activity homework such as practical and open-type homework.In such a mode of homework,students become the "containers" of knowledge,and students’ abilities are not well developed,which is contrary to the concept of new curriculum reform.This article studies how to develop and implement high school students’ core competencies through chemistry homework.In this paper,the current status of high school chemistry homework was investigated through questionnaire survey method,and the corresponding examination points of the five core literacy performance in the national I volume in the last three years and the chemistry test questions in the college entrance examination was analyzed,and the changes in the proportion of each core competencies performance was studied.Meanwhile,this article conducted in-depth study on the design requirements of ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standards for chemistry homework,and then draw on domestic and foreign research results related to chemistry homework reform.At last,author designed the homework based on the core competencies of chemistry.The evaluation system of homework was based on the combination of process evaluation and result evaluation,and added the evaluation method of peer evaluation on the basis of the teacher evaluation.Two parallel classes in the middle school of Y were selected as the comparative class and the experimental class to conduct the experimental teaching method,and spss software was used to carry out a specific empirical study on the effectiveness of the homework design.Through analyzing the data,the conclusion was obtained.Infiltrating the concept of core competencies in high school chemistry homework was beneficial to the development of students’ abilities in innovation and practical ability.At the same time,it could effectively develop students’ discipline core competencies.Moreover,it had a positive impact on students’ performance and could improve the interest of middle and low-level students in learning chemistry.
