Research On The Integration Of Xi Jinping’s Ecological Civilization Thought Into The Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

The construction of ecological civilization is a long-term plan for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,Xi Jinping has formed Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought by combining the wisdom of Chinese traditional ecological philosophy,Marxist ecological thought and Chinese ecological practice,which provides a fundamental basis for the construction of ecological civilization in the new era.The integration of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought into the ideological and political education is of great significance for college students to set up the concept of caring for and close to nature,cultivate the consciousness of ecological civilization and urge them to actively participate in the construction of ecological civilization.The integration of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities has achieved certain results,such as colleges and universities pay more attention to it.College students more agree with Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought,pay more attention to the protection of ecological environment and so on.But there are also some issues,for example,the educational object still has a serious disconnection between "knowledge and practice",the integration mode of colleges and universities is too single,college students’ understanding of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought is not yet sufficient,and so on.The causes of these problems are various,such as the emphasis ecological civilization education in colleges,the lack of systematic planning for talent training in colleges and universities,and the lack of interaction mechanism between society and universities.How to further improve the effectiveness of it and give full play to its educational value has become an issue facing the ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era.For this reason,it is necessary to adhere to the principle of subjectivity and fully mobilizing college students’ autonomy in the study of ecological knowledge,adhere to the principle of innovation and cultivate new people with ecological civilization literacy,adhere to the principle of practicality and improve the ability of college students to practice ecological civilization.We should further broaden the path of it in colleges and universities,such as linkage between teacher training and self-education to promote and enhance the effectiveness of integration;collaborate ideological and political courses with courses to enrich ecological civilization teaching content;all departments of universities are working together to build an "ecological" cultural mechanism on campus;create a harmonious social atmosphere and make the benign interactive development of "knowledge" and "action" and so on.
