Under the background of the revision of my country’s compulsory education curriculum standards,the new curriculum takes core literacy as the main training goal,and new changes are taking place in the science classroom.Every science educator is working hard to implement the core literacy of science.The KDU curriculum model launched by BC Province in Canada during the education reform process just responded to the core issue of the development path of the core literacy training curriculum,and also addresses the meta-question of project-based learning,namely where the curriculum projects come from and where project-based learning is headed.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign literature,this research analyzes the domestic science curriculum standards and KDU-related content,establishes a KDU-oriented junior high school science club course design plan,and uses the eighth grade science club course of H Middle School as a carrier to develop a The waterway vehicle project under the big concept of "movement and interaction of matter".Teachers organized students to carry out project-based learning practice(Do)on the basis of students’ existing knowledge of mechanics(Know).Students experienced "making a" hydrodynamic car "","making a " submarine "","Origami Airplane" and other three research projects,progressive project-based learning has improved students’ core scientific literacy,deepened students’ understanding of what they have learned(Understand),and explored the use of KDU framework to develop community courses in primary and secondary schools feasible path.The research shows that the KDU curriculum model can improve the efficiency of club class organization,and can cooperate well with project-based teaching.Students’ innovation ability and scientific literacy have been significantly improved in science projects.Accordingly,this study puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions.At the same time,this study has certain limitations.We need to further study how the KDU teaching model can effectively combine the level of understanding and the cultivation of students’ comprehensive abilities,including cognitive thinking and core literacy of scientific subjects.Waiting,looking forward to the follow-up research and improvement.
