A Study On Group Work Intervention To Promote The Integration Of "Lao Pi Ao Ethnic Group" In Communities

Influenced by economic development,the loosening of the registered residence system,and the acceleration of population aging and urbanization,more and more young people choose to work and live in big cities.In order to take better care of the lives of their children and grandchildren,the group of "Laopiaozu" is also growing.As for the issue of integration,many scholars have focused their research on migrant workers and youth groups,and paid less attention to the community integration of "old drifters".Since the "old drifters" have left their hometown for a long time to come to strange cities,they have problems that cannot be ignored in terms of interpersonal communication,participation in recreational activities,economic income and sense of community belonging.This study analyzed the current situation and reasons of the integration of the "old drifters" in J community through the methods of literature research,interview and questionnaire.In order to obtain more accurate data,the six selected group members were pre-tested with the Social Avoidance and Social Distress Scale(SAD).Six group activities were carried out under the guidance of empowerment theory,group dynamics theory and social integration theory to cultivate trust among group members,A good communication and interaction platform has been established to enable the team members to find a sense of happiness and belonging,and finally achieve the team goals.After the activity,the SAD post-test data of the group members and the process and effectiveness of the group activities were evaluated.It was found that the "old drifters" had the ability to change themselves.More participation in community activities would help the old drifters to integrate into the community.In the later work of "old drifters" integration,social workers should further improve their professional ability,"old drifters" families need to play a good role in the "old drifters" community integration,the community should further promote the establishment of "old drifters" service management platform,actively seek effective measures for "old drifters" community integration,and improve their integration difficulties.
