talents,it has become the need of the times to cultivate a group of innovative university students with innovative consciousness and innovative ability.Among them,academic integrity is an important cornerstone of innovation.As the support of talents in modernization,academic integrity has become a necessary quality for university students to enhance their innovation ability.Undergraduate education is the key stage for young college students to grow up and become successful,and it is the period for students’ ideology,value orientation and spirituality to take shape,and academic integrity is the moral bottom line for quality assurance of undergraduate education.However,looking at the new-age college student population in recent years,there are still academic integrity problems in different degrees due to various factors.The problem of academic integrity of college students is not only detrimental to the improvement of academic ability of college students in the new era,but also brings great challenges to the cultivation of innovative talents in China,hinders the sustainable and healthy development of China’s academic field,and even relates to the smooth implementation of China’s strategy of developing the country through science and education.To explain the basic theory of academic integrity of college students in the new era.The concept of academic integrity of college students in the new era,the theoretical foundation,and the necessity of academic integrity education of college students in the new era are explained.By exploring the Marxist idea of integrity,the traditional Chinese moral thought of integrity,and the discourse of General Secretary Xi Jinping on moral integrity,the theoretical basis for the research of academic integrity education of college students in the new era is provided.To explore the necessity of academic integrity education for college students in the new era: the basic requirement to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education in colleges and universities,the urgent need to implement the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education and strengthening the country through talents,the inevitable requirement to promote the sustainable and healthy development of academics in China,and the important way to encourage college students to respect and reverence academic norms.Examining the current situation of academic integrity of college students in the new era.By carrying out the survey on the current situation of academic integrity of college students in the new era,we analyze and conclude the positive tendency that the cognitive level of college students’ academic integrity is improved,the value of academic integrity is identified,and the choice of academic integrity behavior tends to be positive.However,there are still some urgent problems that need to be solved,specifically: college students’ lack of attention to academic integrity,indifference to academic breach of trust,mastery of academic norms to be improved,and bias in academic integrity cognition and behavior.Analyze the causes of academic integrity problems of college students in the new era.The internal and external factors affecting the academic integrity of new-age college students are analyzed,and the causes of the problems are analyzed in four dimensions: the low academic moral quality of new-age college students themselves,the insufficient supply of academic integrity education for new-age college students by colleges and universities,the imperfect construction of the academic integrity system of new-age college students,and the lack of academic integrity education environment for new-age college students.The internal factors include the lack of sense of academic responsibility and mission,the lack of academic research ability and innovation ability,and the lack of academic integrity awareness and moral self-discipline of college students in the new era.The external factors are the insufficient supply of academic integrity education for college students,the imperfect construction of the institutional system of academic integrity for college students,and the lack of academic integrity education environment for college students.We propose educational countermeasures for academic integrity of college students in the new era.Based on the analysis of the causes of academic integrity problems of college students in the new era,we propose targeted educational countermeasures.From the perspective of improving the academic integrity of college students,it is necessary for college students to establish academic faith by correcting their study motivation,improve academic ability by studying professional knowledge,and improve self-discipline to abide by academic integrity.In giving full play to the role of the main position of academic integrity education in colleges and universities,we insist on incorporating academic integrity education into teaching plans,advocating and supporting teachers to build academic integrity classes for college students,and integrating academic standard training into the initial stage of college students’ education.In order to promote the construction of academic integrity system of college students,it is necessary to focus on implementing the academic integrity file system of college students,improving the supervision mechanism of academic integrity of college students,standardizing the evaluation system of academic integrity of college students,and improving the punishment measures for academic dishonesty of college students.To play an important role in the academic integrity education environment of college students in the new era,create a strong cultural atmosphere of academic integrity of college students,promote the system and implementation of academic integrity laws and regulations,promote the virtue of integrity to form a good social climate,and purify the academic integrity network information environment of college students.Based on the importance of academic integrity of college students in the context of the new era,college students in the new era should take up the important task of serving the country with science,contribute to the country with innovation and creation,and contribute their youthful power to achieve high-level scientific and technological self-sufficiency and self-improvement,and contribute to the prosperity of the motherland,the happiness of the people,national rejuvenation and the
