As a Chinese saying goes,"It takes ten years to grow trees,but a hundred years to cultivate people." Education has a bearing on the development of our country and the future of our nation.The first question of education is what kind of person to produce.As an effective force in the national scientific research team and the future construction of the country,the academic integrity of contemporary graduate students is not only related to their own success and development,but also related to the future and destiny of the country and the nation.But in recent years,due to the influence of various factors,the graduate student academic dishonesty in our country is increasingly highlight,appeared such as copying,plagiarizing others research results such as violation of academic integrity,the emergence of these problems,not only affect the reputation of the academia,and not conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents in our country,bring great challenge China’s academic innovation.Therefore,it is an indispensable part of postgraduate education to strengthen the cultivation of postgraduate academic integrity.This paper studies this problem from the following three parts.The first part is an overview of the theories related to the academic integrity of graduate students.On the basis of clarifying the concept of academic integrity,this paper defines the concept of academic integrity of graduate students according to the particularity of their roles.At the same time,it is pointed out that the research on the postgraduate academic honesty should not only take the Marxist thought of honesty as the theoretical basis,but also inherit the excellent traditional thought of honesty in China.The second part expounds the present situation of the academic integrity of graduate students and the causes of academic dishonesty.At present,the mainstream status of academic integrity of graduate students in China is positive,they generally have the recognition of academic integrity,and basically practice the requirements of academic integrity.However,some graduate students do have academic dishonesty problems,which are mainly manifested in such aspects as plagiarism,plagiarism of others’ research results,falsification and tampering of research data and conclusions,fabrication of references and improper attribution.Then,the paper analyzes the reasons for the academic dishonesty of graduate students from the aspects of the lack of academic integrity education for graduate students in colleges and universities,the need to improve the academic supervision mechanism for graduate students,the low academic integrity quality of graduate students themselves,and the negative impact of the unhealthy social atmosphere.This part provides the basis for thinking about the path to improve the academic integrity of graduate students.The third part is the key content of the full text,mainly from the strengthening of graduate academic integrity standard education,improve the graduate academic management system,enhance the quality of graduate academic integrity,and create a pragmatic academic atmosphere to consider the path.Specifically speaking,to strengthen the standardized education of postgraduate academic integrity,it is necessary to clarify the objectives of postgraduate academic integrity education,follow the principles of postgraduate academic integrity education,innovate the methods of postgraduate academic integrity education,and give full play to the leading role of supervisors in academic integrity education.To improve the graduate academic management system,mainly through the improvement of the relevant academic supervision system,the establishment of scientific academic evaluation system,improve the academic dishonesty punishment system;To improve the academic integrity quality of postgraduates mainly includes correcting their academic motivation,strengthening their academic responsibility and cultivating their realistic qualities.To create a true-seeking and pragmatic academic atmosphere,it is necessary to create a rigorous campus academic ecology,create a transparent environment for the publication of achievements,create an honest network information space,and create a clean and upright scientific research environment.
