A Study On Social Work Of Sandplay Therapy Intervention In Social Withdrawal Of Community Backbones

Since entering the 21 st century,Community Construction has become an important link in our social governance system.As the most basic unit of governance,the demand for the community’s governance capacity is increasing.Community backbones become critical under such circumstances.As intermediaries between community residents and community staff,community backbones play an important role in the daily affairs of the community.They themselves are rooted in the community,and they are familiar with the internal and external environment and the general situation of the community.As residents of the community,they can communicate with other neighbors more smoothly,which is more conducive to eliminating community conflicts.In view of such things,as the endogenous resources in the community,the importance of community backbones is increasingly prominent.With the development of the society,the original “Nepotist Society” gradually focus on principles and norms.In this case,either out of fear of responsibility,or out of concern for their own capacity,some community leaders have a series of acts of social withdrawal,which hindered the community construction.The need to ease such behavior of community backbones is self-evident.In this study,the SOC Scale was used to measure the social withdrawal of client W,who has such behavior during she’s in the community backbones formation group in community F of city G.It was found that client W showed typical behaviors of social withdrawal during the group work.But client W didn’t know the reason that why she behave like that.In Sandplay Therapy,the client can freely chose the sand tools and formed the themes,and expressed and projected her inner world needs through the sandplay elements unconsciously.This enables the client to examine her sandbox work from the perspective of a third party and to look at her inner world objectively from the perspective of a bystander,which helps the client to detect her conflicts and problems.By using the unique technical of Sandplay Therapy,the client’s conflicts and contradictions can be alleviated.It can also help the client to achieve healing and growth and to resolve her social withdrawal behavior.Based on this situation,this study takes the alleviation of social withdrawal behaviors of community backbones as the topic,and combines Sandplay Therapy and casework to design an intervention program.The characteristics of this study are that it focuses on the social withdrawal behaviors of community backbones and expands the application of Sandplay Therapy in local practice.This study carried out 12 case work services,the 1st case work service is to establish professional relationship with the client,the 2nd to 3rd case work service is the problem presentation stage,the 4th to 10 th case work service is the struggle confrontation stage,the 11 th case work service is the healing stage,and the 12 th case work service is the case service closing stage.After the end of the case service,a posttest using the SOC Scale showed that the social withdrawal behaviors of the client was effectively alleviated.The study objectives were largely achieved.The results of the study showed that the social withdrawal behaviors of community backbones needed the intervention of social work,and that Sandplay Therapy was significantly effective in alleviating the social withdrawal behaviors of community backbones.It is of great significance to the cultivation of community backbones and the construction of community.
