Children’s social withdrawal refers to a variety of solitary behaviors that children show across time and across contexts in social situations,or in the peer environment.It is close to affect whether children can adapt to the environment in the process of the connection between young and young.Far,it indicates whether the child can finish school in a healthy mental state in the adolescent period.It can be seen that social withdrawal has a profound impact on young children,and it is time to intervene in the social withdrawal of young children.The purpose of this study is to verify the therapeutic effect of sandbox therapy intervention on children with social withdrawal,and to explore the changing trend of the themes of trauma,transformation and healing in the works of children with social withdrawal in the process of sandbox therapy intervention.The second is to compare the differences in the intervention effects of individual sandplay therapy intervention and group sandplay therapy intervention on children with social withdrawal,so as to seek more ideal intervention methods for children with social withdrawal.Based on the analysis of a large number of literatures,this study used an experimental method to study the effects of different forms of sandplay intervention on children with social withdrawal.This study was designed to control a single variable.The independent variable was the intervention mode of the participants(i.e.,individual sandplaying intervention,two-person sandplaying intervention and no intervention),and the dependent variable was the degree of children’s social withdrawal tendency.The subjects were divided into three groups(control group,individual sandplay group and two-person sandplay group).Under the condition of control variables,the social withdrawal tendency of the three groups was measured before and after the intervention,and the changes of the social withdrawal tendency of the three groups were compared.The intervention effect was analyzed from both qualitative and quantitative results: the quantitative analysis was mainly based on the questionnaire data before and after the test,and SPSS22.0 software was used to input the data obtained from the pre-test and post-test,and the correlation analysis was conducted to verify the significance of the results before and after the experiment.Qualitative analysis is divided into two aspects.On the one hand,analysis is carried out through the process and changes of the sandbox therapy works of the subjects;On the other hand,the results of interviews with teachers were used to analyze the changes in social interaction in real life after the intervention.After qualitative and quantitative analysis,the sand table intervention process was reviewed,and the development and evaluation process of the sand table were introduced in detail.The results showed as follows:(1)The detection rate of middle class children with social withdrawal was 12.6%;(2)Sand play can effectively reduce children’s tendency of social withdrawal;(3)After receiving individual sandplay therapy intervention,children in individual sandplay group had a lower tendency of social withdrawal than children in control group,but not significant;(4)After receiving the two-player group sandplay intervention,the withdrawal tendency of children in the two-player sandplay group was significantly lower than that in the individual sandplay group and the control group;(5)The children with social withdrawal in the individual sandplay group and the two-person sandplay group showed significantly less trauma themes in their sandplay works;(6)In the individual sandbox group and the two-person sandbox group,the healing theme in the sandbox works of children with social withdrawal increased,but not significantly.Finally,the paper discusses the research results,reflects on the shortcomings,looks forward to the future research direction and puts forward suggestions for education,and summarizes the main conclusions of this study.
