| The healthy growth of teenagers not only needs a keen mind,but also needs a healthy body to do support.The Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education(2022 edition)put forward that attention should be paid to the cultivation of students’ sports ability,healthy behavior and sports morality.At present,the Ministry of Education requires students to exercise for at least one hour every day.Among various sports activities in schools,sports activities between classes is an important means to ensure students’ exercise time.Playing the positive role of sports activities between classes can cultivate students’ athletic ability,develop good physical exercise habits,enhance sports will and self-confidence,so as to promote the all-round development of students.This paper takes the physical activity during recess in 14 middle schools in Yandu District,Yancheng City,Jiangsu Province as the research object.By means of literature,questionnaire,interview,logical analysis,case analysis and other research methods,the basic situation,organization and management of sports activities during recess were investigated and studied,and the characteristics and influencing factors of sports activities during recess were systematically analyzed.According to the survey results and analysis,the following results are obtained: The main contents of middle school recess activities in Yandu District of Yancheng City,Jiangsu Province are broadcast exercises,running exercises and school sports activities.At present,each school has not established the special management system of recess,recess sports activities are basically in the track field and the open space within the school area;A small number of school sports venues can not meet the needs of students’ normal recess sports activities.70% of teachers are willing to participate in the supervision and management of sports activities during recess,which is mainly organized in the form of school-wide activities.Students believed that the intensity of exercise during recess was moderate,and their heart rate was measured in the range of 131-140 beats per minute.The management of activities during the big break forms the characteristics of "three must-see" and "three combination".Research conclusions:(1)There are many types of recess contents in middle schools in Yandu District,and school characteristics have been initially formed.(2)Establish the management system of sports activities during recess,and the responsibilities of all departments are relatively centralized.(3)There are certain limitations in the activity area during the big break,but there is a large space for expansion.(4)Physical education teachers attach great importance to participating in sports activities during recess;The organization form of recess in a few middle schools is relatively simple;The intensity of sports activities during recess is moderate;Teachers’ participation in other subjects is not high.(5)Sports activities during recess are closely related to the characteristic items of traditional sports schools.Research suggestions :(1)Expand the content of sports activities during recess and adjust and replace them regularly.(2)Improve and optimize the school sports management system.(3)Strengthen the security work,effectively use the school venues,equipment,funds and other resources.(4)Try to group activities according to special content,and carry out sports games or competitions appropriately.Effective measures should be taken to encourage teachers of other subjects to actively participate in sports activities during recess.(5)Enrich the existing characteristics of the management of long recess activities.Carry out school-based training of teachers and physical education teaching basic skills display and competition,carry out teacher teaching team construction. |
