| Life is a prerequisite for everyone to survive,develop and pursue a better life.Without life,it is impossible to realize other values.The value of human life is the logical starting point for the formation and development of all values.Questioning and thinking about the value of life is the life value concept,which profoundly affects people’s value sense,life attitude,and observed behavior.College students in the new era are born at the right time.Their life cycle overlaps with the critical period for the realization of the second Centenary Goal,so they naturally shoulder the heavy responsibility entrusted by the development of The Times.The new era of college students is also a sensitive barometer of The Times.Their values orientation determines the orientation of social values.The quality and value of life are closely related to the country’s future and destiny.Therefore,we should strengthen the education of life values for college students in the new era and guide them to connect their life values closely with the future and destiny of the country at this extraordinary juncture in time.It is not only an essential subject for colleges and universities to carry out ideological and political education and cultivate new people of The Times but also to meet the practical needs of the new journey of the new era and realize the requirements of The Times for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper focuses on the current situation of college students’ life values in the new era and conducts in-depth research from the following five aspects.First of all,the theoretical explanation of related concepts is carried out.Through the definition of life,value,life value,and lifetime value of college students in the new era,the five dimensions of life value education of college students in the new era are finally clarified.It aims to guide college students to realize the unity of life values in the five dimensions of knowledge,feeling,intention,faith,and action and realize the unity of life value and the future and destiny of the motherland.Second,analyze and sort out the theoretical.Draw ideological resources and spiritual guidance from Marx’s ideas on the value of life,the value of life in the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s meaningful discourse on ideological and political education for youth.Thirdly,the necessity of life-value education for college students in the new era is specifically discussed from three aspects: the practical needs of the development of the times,the cultivation of the new generation in colleges and universities,and the healthy growth of college students.Fourth,we examine the actual life values of university students using qualitative and quantitative research methods.The problem was analyzed from the four sides of the complex social environment of the interaction between multi-cultural culture and media network,the deviation of the practicality and utilitarianism education direction,the intimacy of idea and the family chain reaction of the function failure,and the internal independence and feelings shielding of the university students.Fifth,based on the above research results,we develop four kinds of educational power based on five dimensions: knowledge,emotion,willingness,belief,and behavior.The study further proposes to build a life-value education system for university students,with universities as the main body of education,families as the foundation of education,Society as the basis,and students as the core of education.Through the comprehensive coverage of "four forces" + "five dimensions," a collaborative education pattern is formed in which all parties are educated together,and multi-dimensional education is provided to comprehensively enhance the effectiveness of life value education for college students in the new era. |
