| Worked-example learning is based on worked-examples.Learners process workedexamples at the cognitive level to grasp potential rules and apply them to similar problemsolving situations.There are abundant worked-examples in chemistry textbooks,which is a material reference for teaching and learning.However,there is no research on high school chemistry worked-examples in China,which is not enough to meet the needs of the construction of high school chemistry textbooks.Therefore,this paper starts to study them in order to provide a basis for the compilation of textbooks.Firstly,based on domestic and foreign literature,this article defines the concepts of chemical worked-example,and reviews the theoretical basis,worked-example characteristics,and worked-example studies in textbooks for worked-example and workedexample learning.Next,we will select the mandatory modules of the senior high school chemistry textbook(2020)of Jiangsu Education Edition as the research object and construct a chemistry " worked-example " analysis tool.For the study of the characteristics within the worked-example,this paper takes the type,structure characteristics,situational elements and functional orientation as the primary dimension,and sets the secondary dimension,and makes a detailed traceability and interpretation of the proposed primary and secondary dimensions,and gives an analysis of the coding worked-examples,and clearly defines the analysis unit to maintain the consistency of the coding;For the study of inter-workedexample features,the organization form,feature variation and worked-example number are set to analyze,and representative key knowledge units are selected for research.Secondly,based on the content analysis method,the "worked-examples" in the chemistry textbooks are coded and counted as a whole,and the features within and between worked-examples are described as a whole and dimensionally.Research shows:(1)The worked-example types are rich and varied,covering 6 worked-example types;The proportion of different worked-examples is different,and the experimental operation worked-examples and simple concept principle worked-examples are the main workedexample types,which shows that the textbook fully takes into account the characteristics of chemistry discipline "based on experiments" and "rich in abstract concept principles" when designing worked-examples.(2)The number of default worked-examples and full worked-examples is almost equal,while the number of the latter is slightly more than the former.(3)There are various kinds of scene elements,especially industrial production and life experience scenes,which meet the cognitive needs of learners and the needs of social development,but the number of worked-examples of ruthless scenes is large.(4)The functions of the sample are diversified,and the main functions are analytic knowledge and thinking training.The same worked-example may contain multiple functions;Different types of samples have different functional priorities.It can be found that the worked-example design seeks to expand the function while ensuring the basic function.(5)The number of multiple worked-examples is appropriate;Most of the variation types were surface variation;The organization form is mostly block type,there is no interaction;The key knowledge unit sample arrangement is reasonable,fit the learning objective. |
