As a necessary educational management method,educational discipline plays a very important role in the growth and development of students.For a long time,teachers’ implementation of educational discipline has been controversial and has triggered discussions from all walks of life.How to properly implement educational discipline and effectively play the role of educational discipline has become a major problem plaguing front-line teachers.As guardians of students,parents play a very important role in the special and sensitive educational issue of educational discipline.In order for teachers to be truly effective in implementing educational discipline,parents need to cooperate and participate,so that primary school students can be supervised and corrected accordingly at home,and earnestly perform their educational responsibilities for their children.In the process of implementing educational discipline,it is necessary to promote the formation of a home-school co-education situation.Studying the implementation of educational discipline by primary school teachers in the context of home-school co-education is of great practical significance to explore the optimization path of educational discipline implementation.Based on the overlapping influence domain theory proposed by Epstein et al.,this study went deep into the primary school of S City N School,and used the questionnaire survey method and interview method as the main research methods to investigate the participation of primary school teachers and students’ parents in the implementation of educational discipline,explore the problems and causes of primary school teachers in the implementation of educational discipline with family participation,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the implementation of educational discipline for primary school teachers in the context of home-school co-education.The results show that in the process of implementing educational discipline among primary school teachers in the context of home-school co-education,there are problems such as the lack of consistency in the cognition and attitude of educational discipline,the lack of consistency in the way of implementing educational discipline,the lack of family cooperation and participation of teachers in implementing educational discipline,the lack of home-school mutual trust in the process of implementing educational discipline by teachers,and the imperfect appeal channels for educational discipline between home and school.Through analysis,it is found that the main causes are the lack of correct guidance for public opinion guidance on educational punishment,the incomplete laws and regulations on educational discipline,the outdated educational concepts and lack of ability of parents,the lack of good support for teachers to implement educational punishment,and the construction of home-school co-education model is not deep enough.In order to solve the current problems in the implementation of educational discipline by primary school teachers,strategic suggestions are put forward in four aspects: condensing social consensus,improving laws and regulations,teachers grasping the "temperature" of implementing educational discipline,and schools effectively implementing educational discipline.
