As one of the five basic disciplines of natural science.Through experimentation,observation and inquiry to emphasizes the physical model of biology,that can develop hands-on ability and improve thinking ability of students,and help students understand biological knowledge.At the same time,the Ministry of Education clearly explained model construction in the 2017 edition of the General High School Biology Curriculum Standards,and emphasized the importance of modeling thinking and ability for students’ development.Through the learning process constructed by physical models,students can combine theory and practice,promote the development of both operational and mental skills,cultivate interest in learning and enhance the level of creativity.Based on domestic and foreign models to construct the research foundation of teaching,combined with the current situation of education in China,the research content and research route were determined.The compulsory textbooks of high schools in the Xinren Teaching Edition were selected as research materials,and the students and teachers of a middle school in Changshou District,Chongqing were identified as the research objects to investigate the current situation,and teaching strategies were proposed according to the survey results,and then appropriate physical model content was selected to design teaching,which was applied to experimental teaching,and the biological learning interest,classroom learning and creativity level of teaching experimental subjects were explored and analyzed,so that expound the practical teaching significance of applying physical model construction in biology was discovered.By analyzing the study,it can be obtained:⑴Combined with the background of modern education and the research on physical model construction teaching at home and abroad,and based on the results of the current situation,it can be seen that it is necessary to conduct this research on the theme of applied physical model construction in biology,which can provide scientific reference for future related research and promote the development of biology teaching.⑵Based on the concept of physical model,the distribution of physical model content in the textbook was obtained,indicating that the physical model occupies an important position in the structure and organization of the textbook content,which is of great significance to students’ learning of biological knowledge.⑶The teaching activity of constructing physical models effectively combines students’ hands and brains to help students build a knowledge system,help students understand the process of microscopic world and material change,and improve the traditional knowledge transmission mode,thereby improving students’ knowledge organization strategies and students’ knowledge transfer ability.⑷Physical model construction teaching can improve students’ interest in biology,improve students’ classroom participation,maintain students’ attention,inspire students to think and explore,improve classroom teaching efficiency,and provide feasible teaching methods for front-line teachers.⑸The teaching of physical model construction effectively trains students’ ability of abstract thinking and language expression,establishes a rigorous scientific attitude and scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts,cultivates students’ abstract thinking,and improves students’ creativity level.
