With the rise of the era of knowledge economy,cultivating students' core literacy has become a topic of general concern in the education field.At the same time,the role of scientific methods in cultivating students' logical thinking and innovative practical ability has become increasingly prominent.People have constructed physical models in teaching.Cognition of the cultivation value of students' core literacy is also deepening."Ordinary high school biology curriculum standards(2017 edition)" clearly pointed out that model and model construction is an important way to cultivate students' scientific thinking.Based on this,the author has studied the construction and practice of physical models in high school biology teaching.Based on the review of relevant research progress on the construction of physical models at home and abroad,this study is based on the pedagogy and psychology theories such as constructivism and multiple intelligence theory.Through the questionnaire survey of students and interviews with teachers,it is found that Qingyang,Gansu Province.The physical model construction in the biology teaching of a township high school in Ning County is limited by internal and external factors,and has not fully exerted its positive effect on the development of students' ability.Taking this as a starting point,the author combs the basic steps of the construction of physical models in high school biology teaching according to the research on the construction of physical models in teaching in domestic and foreign scholars,and integrates the experience sharing of biology teachers in this school to propose the physical model construction in teaching for practical problems.Effective strategies,and through the two cases of "meiosis" and "replication of DNA" teaching practice.The results of teaching evaluation through classroom observation and post-class interviews show that the application of physical model construction in high school biology teaching helps students understand biological concepts,improve students' interest in learning,and cultivate students' innovative thinking and cooperation and communication skills.After practice and reflection,the author believes that high school biology teachers should first change their concepts,pay more attention to the cultivationof students' literacy by scientific methods,and secondly develop and mine appropriate curriculum resources.Finally,they must carefully design physical models to construct classroom examples and make full use of teaching and research activities to play physics.The positive value of model construction for student development.
