Research On The Application Of The Physical Model Construction In The Teaching About Biology In Module 1 For High School Students

Biology is an experimental subject,emphasizing the practical ability and thinking ability of sciences.One of the concepts of new curriculum reform advocates inquiry-based learning,and tries to transform students from passive learning to active inquiry.And the process of building model for students is to collect and process information,is to combine rational thinking and practical ability,is to cultivate students'interest and innovative thinking.People in China and abroad are fully realize the importance of "mode"and "model method",and use it as one of the goals of teaching.This research mainly used the literature research method,the questionnaire investigation method,the case analysis method and the experimental research method and so on,we discussed how to apply the model teaching method about biology in module 1.We first reviewed the theoretical basis and research status of model teaching method,and discussed the principles and steps of the construction of the physical model,and then through the case teaching,analyzed how to construct a physical model for different types of application in biology teaching.In the experimental study,we compared and analyzed the scores of the students in the experimental class and the control class.We analyzed the changes of students' interest in biology learning,creative consciousness and creative ability based on the questionnaire survey,classroom performance and interview.The results showed that:the construction of model made most students' way of learning from passive to active,significantly improved the interest and enthusiasm of learning biology,improved students' innovation consciousness and ability,obviously improved students' learning achievement,and the students' evaluation ability,aesthetic ability and spatial structure ability of rational thinking had changed too.
