Research On Community Practice And Path Of Parent Education

Parents are their children’s first teachers.The quality and parenting ability of parents directly affect the quality of family education.With family education gradually facing the public domain,it is necessary to explore the practical path of parent education.This paper makes comprehensive use of literature analysis,case studies and interviews to study the community practice and path of parent education.This paper first analyzes the real dilemma of parent education.At present,the practice of parent education in China mainly relies on parent schools organized by schools.There are some problems in the aspects of educational content,form,teaching staff and parents’ willingness to participate in parent schools.When carrying out parent education,schools will inevitably face the dilemma that it is difficult to give consideration to parents while focusing on children,which is an important reason affecting the effectiveness of school-run parent schools.Community education not only has the basis of reality,but also has the advantages in education attributes,regions and pooling resources.It can effectively make up for the shortage of schools,promote the coordination of multiple subjects and improve the practical effect of parent education.On this basis,this paper selects S District Community College,which has achieved good results in parent education through the intervention of community education,as a case study,expounds its practice and current situation,and analyzes its operating mechanism and development path.Community parent education in S District has gone through four stages of development,and now it has built a professional platform of parent education "Star Parents License",realized online and offline dual-channel teaching,constructed a parent education evaluation system,formed the value concept of social joint promotion of parent education within the region,had a practical effect on parents,but also faced difficulties in funding,research and development.Under the unified leadership and support of the district government,S District has formed a diversified linkage mechanism dominated by the education department.With the community college as the convergence point,the parent education resources scattered in various units,schools and social organizations have been effectively integrated,realizing the joint construction,promotion and sharing of parent education within the region.Under the guidance of the curriculum concept of "leading + according to needs",make full use of digital education means to organize educational activities that meet the learning characteristics and needs of parents;By establishing the point evaluation system and incentive mechanism,parents’ learning motivation and participation will be promoted.Through the establishment of a diverse team of teachers,improve the management system,to ensure the effectiveness and scientific nature of parent education.Finally,on the basis of discussing the practical experience and deficiency in S district,this paper provides some ideas and enlightenment for our future by promoting community parent education.First,we should return to the essence of education,take improving the quality of parents as the core,implement the principle of "parent main body",attach importance to the law of parent education,respect parents’ actual needs,learning characteristics and parenting experience,and enhance parents’ confidence in parenting.The second is to develop community education,gather community strength,mobilize the enthusiasm of the community residents,so as to tap the potential resources of the community,expand the channels of parent education,and promote peer assistance and self-education among the parents in the community.Third,we should stimulate parents’ motivation to learn,and promote parents’ endogenous motivation and participation willingness by establishing a point evaluation system and learning incentive mechanism.Fourth,we should strengthen the institutional guarantee,establish and improve the coordination mechanism of relevant responsible departments,promote the integration of resources,guarantee financial support,strengthen the construction and management of professional teams,and improve the path of practice and innovation.
