With the deepening of global economic integration and the improvement of China's reform and opening up,the competition between countries has gradually changed to that between cities.In order to better promote the development of city modernization,city image building and publicity have become very important at present.Since Tik-Tok made Xi'an famous in 2018,the effect of new media on city image with respect to construction and dissemination has given people hope.Based on this background,this thesis takes Tik-Tok that affects construction and communication of Xi'an city image as the research object,ianalyzes the relevant content,and summarizes the valuable experience,which aims to provide a refcrence for the subsequent research or practice.By utilizing text analysis method and case analysis method,this thesis analyzes and processes the related short video samples,explores comprehensively the specific construction of Xi'an city image from internal and external angles,and then answers the problems such as "what kind of Xi'an is constructed by Tik-Tok","what are the constructive features of the relevant content".This thesis carries out the research on the communication mechanism of Xi'an city image in the Tik-Tok platform in terms of the communication subject of the related activities,the carrier of characteristic communication symbols,the mode of communication,and the characteristics of socialization.Finally,aimed at the shortcomings in the overall communication activities,this thesis provides the corresponding solving strategies.The study results indicate that,the use of short-video social platform to disseminate the image of the city in terms of the construction of image content can be started with the three symbols:"delicious food","beautiful scenery" and "music",which are more prominet in terms of popularity and dissemination effect.However,it is noted that the forging of the thickness of the city image cannot be neglected while utilizing these tools for to be different.To achieve this,the official government,the general public,and the media platform must work together.The city government and the platform need to plan and guide actively with respect to the relevant contents,and strengthen the management and construction of urban reality,as well as the cultivation of citizens' creative quality;Meanwhile,the general public(especially the citizens)needs to constantly improve their creative and aesthetic abilities,and enhances their sense of ownership.With these three forces,the positive shaping of the city image in the media is able to be accomplished.
