In early 2020,the COVID-19 outbreak swept the world.In the face of major public health emergencies that threaten the survival of mankind,the Chinese people have stood united through thick and fast,creating a social environment for epidemic prevention and control.As a kind of conceptual existence,values will change with the changes of social existence.It not only comes from the spontaneous construction in the brain,but also is inseparable with the guidance of values education.Therefore,we should seize the opportunity of COVID-19 and anti-epidemic practices to help college students establish correct values.This paper mainly uses literature research method and semi-structured interview method for research.First of all,through reading the literature,the overall understanding of college students’ values and value education guidance at home and abroad,the basic concept of this paper is sorted out,and the Marxist theory and other scientific theories as the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,semi-structured interview was used to understand the current situation of college students’ values in the context of COVID-19.Values changed greatly in four aspects: life values,political values,scientific values and moral values.The interview results show that COVID-19 and China’s anti-epidemic practices are generally conducive to promoting the formation of positive values among college students,including: more positive life values;More politically correct;Scientific values are firmer;Moral values are higher.Of course,there are still some problems in the values of college students: the sense of social responsibility is relatively shallow;There are different values of knowledge and practice;Emotional apathy reflects negative values;Values lack the support of rational cognition.This paper analyzes the formation and problems of positive values among college students in the COVID-19 epidemic and China’s anti-EPIDEMIC practice,and puts forward five ideas to optimize the value education and guidance of college students in the context of COVID-19: first,strengthen the value education and guidance of colleges and universities;Second,attach importance to the education and guidance of family values;Improve the education and guidance of social values;Fourth,strengthen the self-value education and guidance of college students;Fifth,expand the practice of value education and guidance.
