One of the important changes in modern education and teaching reform is to pay more and more attention to students’ dominant position in learning,and to change the teaching phenomenon that only teachers’ teaching was paid attention to and students’ learning was ignored,and students were regarded as the center of teaching.On this basis,teachers are gradually changing the traditional teaching methods in the teaching process,and adopting new teaching methods to change the role focus in teaching to meet the requirements of curriculum."Empathy" teaching method brings students into a "historical situation",pays attention to students’ dominant position and stimulates students’ curiosity,which conforms to the requirements of history education in social development,that is,the role of "human" should occupy the teaching center.The future history teaching method should gradually develop from memory teaching to guiding students to carry out creative learning,focusing on developing students’ comprehensive ability and improving students’ core literacy in history.This teaching method is a history teaching method that can arouse students’ interest in learning,stimulate students’ thinking and promote the development of historical thinking.Therefore,it is a problem worthy of in-depth exploration to explore the intrinsic value of the teaching method of "Empathy" and give full play to its function in promoting the history classroom teaching in senior high schools.Besides the introduction,conclusion and thanks,this paper discusses the teaching method of "empathy " from five parts.Part one gives an overall overview of the teaching method of "Empathy",such as its concept,theoretical basis,characteristics and feasibility.Part two :On the basis of the first part and combining with my own understanding in teaching practice,the author discusses the significance of the teaching method of "empathy";Part three makes an in-depth investigation of F Middle School by distributing students’ questionnaires and interviewing teachers,and sorts out relevant data and records.In the fourth part,based on the first four parts,the teaching design and teaching practice and reflection are carried out with the tenth lesson "Industrial Revolution Affecting the World" of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part II),and relevant practical suggestions are put forward in combination with relevant theories and application practices,with a view to optimizing the application of "empathy" teaching method in high school history classroom teaching.
