Teaching methods means to achieve certain teaching goal, the teacherorganizes the student to carry on the sum of specialized content learning activityways, means and procedures. It includes teaching methods and learning methods.Teaching approach is a necessary condition to complete the education task andan important factor affecting teacher’s prestige and teacher-student relationship.In order to teach students well and improve efficiency, teachers should grasp andbe good at certain methods, which require teachers to master scientific teachingapproach. For history teachers, choose effective teaching approach willundoubtedly have a positive effect on promoting the smooth progress of middleschool history teaching reform, improving history teaching quality, andpromoting the improvement of student’s quality.Based on the investigation about ten middle schools in Jinzhou city, we hasfound that history teachers prefer to adopt traditional teaching approaches,meanwhile, lack of awareness of the study methods and related research onteaching approaches. According to the middle school current teaching situation,we encourages history teachers to try new teaching approaches to solve theexisting problems, proposes the program to conduct learning method guidanceand teaching method training to arouse educators’ thinking of history teachingproblems. The paper aims at providing a reference for the changes andinnovation of history teaching approaches in the future,thus better adapt to theneeds of the times, promote students’ comprehensive development.
