Abstract/Summary:
With the progress of society,the "Physics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition)" clearly points out that in today’s society,it is necessary to increase the construction of core competencies for students in basic education to meet the needs of society for high-quality development.Therefore,in the process of implementing basic education,it is necessary to focus on improving students’ core abilities,enabling them to acquire more practical abilities in learning,and be able to apply the knowledge they have mastered to practical social practice.The life oriented teaching strategy can combine physics knowledge with practical life,return physics learning to life,and improve students’ core physics literacy.The research topic of this article is the life oriented teaching of high school physics.Firstly,the literature research method was used to grasp the development of life oriented teaching,analyze the current research status at home and abroad,integrate relevant educational theories,deeply understand life oriented teaching and core literacy,and define relevant concepts to provide a theoretical basis for this study.Secondly,through questionnaire surveys and research interviews,we aim to understand the current implementation status of life oriented teaching in Kaili No.1Middle School in Guizhou Province,and analyze students’ interest and needs in physics teaching.Then,starting from the current situation of high school physics teaching,a life oriented teaching strategy and principles based on core physics literacy were proposed.Through designing a series of teaching cases and applying the series of teaching strategies and principles proposed in this article,practical research was conducted on life oriented teaching.Finally,through questionnaire surveys,post test data from exams,and a comparison of grades between the experimental class and the control class,it was found that the appropriate use of life oriented teaching strategies in high school physics teaching can not only enhance students’ interest and enthusiasm in physics learning,but also improve their grades.This confirms the important role of life oriented teaching in cultivating students’ core literacy,and analyzes the shortcomings and prospects of this study at the end.
