Optimization And Practice Of High School Biology Homework Based On Student Differences

Abstract/Summary:
In 2017,the Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Education System and Mechanism issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council pointed out that the education performs its fundamental mission of fostering virtue and promoting quality education;In order to achieve the goal that education performs its fundamental mission of fostering virtue,Guizhou Province officially launched the new comprehensive reform plan of the college entrance examination in 2021,emphasizing the comprehensive,diversified and personalized development of students.Obviously,the new era has put forward higher requirements for talent training.As one of the ways to realize the goal that education performs its fundamental mission of fostering virtue,the value of operation education cannot be replaced.In order to maximize the function of operation education,the improvement of operation quality is imminent.Therefore,this study believes that it is necessary to optimize the high school biology homework,improve the quality of homework,cultivate high-quality talents,and provide a reference for the future homework research.In this study,7 biology teachers and 250 grade one students from Guiyang L Middle School were investigated for the current situation of high school biology homework and students’ ideal homework.The survey concluded that students desire to have various types,suitable for their own abilities and more interesting homework;However,the current homework type,level and correction evaluation methods are relatively simple,and some students’ homework is utilitarian and plagiarized.The analysis of the causes of the above phenomenon shows that L school did not fully consider the differences of students in the homework process,which brings enlightenment to the optimization of this study.Based on the results of the survey,reference homework optimization related literature,under the guidance of curriculum and tutor,subject teacher advice,this study puts forward three optimization principle(curriculum standard for purpose,respect students differences,meet the needs of students’ positive emotion)and four optimization strategies(homework reflects hierarchical,homework type diversification,energy integral system to improve students driving force,correcting the evaluation method optimization strategy).According to the optimization principles and strategies,the current homework is optimized,and the homework is divided into two modules: the required homework(stratified homework)for students and the selective required homework to improve students’ interest.The "energy score system" is implemented to encourage students to make progress and mobilize their enthusiasm for learning.Two classes with similar overall level in L school were selected as the experimental class and the control class respectively.The experimental class did the homework to optimize the homework and keep the control class homework in the original state,and the practical research was conducted for 3 months and 14 days.After the practice,the students’ achievement and interest showed the following results:(1)the difference between the two classes P=0.205>0.05(far less than the difference between the first two classes P=0.821);(2)the difference of interest between the two classes P=0.033 <0.05,the significance of interest P=0.003 <0.05.Based on the above results and the results of the interview:(1)the optimization of homework has improved the students ’performance and learning interest,and significantly affects the students’ interest in learning;(2)optimizing the homework corrects the students ’attitude,changes the purpose of students’ homework,and promotes the development of students’ ability of group cooperation and inquiry practice.To sum up,the optimized homework based on students’ differences can promote students’ development more effectively than the traditional homework.omote students’ development more effectively than traditional homework.
