| The feeling of family and country is one of the core concepts of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and is also a constant theme of moral education in China.The cultivation of a sense of home and country plays an important role in implementing the core qualities of the senior secondary Civic Studies subject,mobilising students’ passion for their country and hometown,and passing on the excellent Chinese traditional culture.Cultivating students’ family sentiments in teaching senior secondary ideology and politics is of great significance in practising the core qualities of the subject of general senior secondary ideology and politics,enriching the teaching resources of senior secondary ideology and politics,inspiring students to love their country and family,and promoting the excellent Chinese traditional culture.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the paper is divided into four key chapters,with a summary of each section shown below.The first part is an overview related to the development of family values in teaching high school ideology and politics.Firstly,the definitions of family sentiment and family sentiment cultivation are defined;secondly,the relevance of family sentiment cultivation to general high school ideology and politics classes is analysed in terms of the nature of the curriculum,the overall cultivation objectives and the specific content of cultivation;finally,the contemporary value of cultivating family sentiment in general high school ideology and politics teaching is discussed.The second part is an analysis of the current situation and reasons for the cultivation of family sentiments in the teaching of high school ideology and politics.Based on research methods such as documentary analysis and observation,a study was conducted to investigate the current situation of cultivating students’ patriotic and family-friendly emotions in senior secondary school Civics classes.Firstly,the effectiveness of the cultivation of national sentiment in the teaching of general high school ideology and politics is discussed,mainly in terms of the enhancement of students’ concepts of national sentiment,the continuous cultivation of students’ personal behaviour towards national sentiment,and the enrichment of specific contents of the teaching of national sentiment,etc.Secondly,it reveals that the overall cultivation goal of the Chinese nation’s emotion in the ideological and political teaching of ordinary senior high school tends to be an intelligent system,the teaching examples used for the cultivation of national sentiment lack currency,the teaching methods lack purpose,and the implementation of practical activities for the cultivation of national sentiment is not in place.In the end,there are many factors that lead to the above problems,including the traditional teaching concept’s restriction on the cultivation of national sentiment,the lack of depth in the development of national sentiment teaching resources,the need to improve the teaching evaluation index system of national sentiment cultivation,and the teachers’ quality of national sentiment cultivation.The third part is a strategy for optimising the cultivation of a sense of family in teaching high school ideology and politics.According to the shortcomings and causes of the problems in the cultivation of family sentiment in the teaching of general high school ideology and politics classes at this stage,the author believes that four aspects should be used to enhance the cultivation of family sentiment in the teaching of general high school ideology and politics classes: one is to strengthen the construction of the main body of family sentiment cultivation;the second is to dig deeper into the teaching resources of family sentiment;the third is to improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching of family sentiment cultivation;the fourth is to promote the social practice activities of family sentiment cultivation.The fourth part is an analysis of lesson examples on the development of family values in teaching high school ideology and politics.Take the lesson "Passing on the Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture and the Spirit of the Chinese Nation" in Compulsory 4 of the Unified Edition of Philosophy and Culture as an example to develop a case study on the cultivation of national sentiments in general high school ideology and politics classes. |
