| The excellent traditional Chinese culture is a precious wealth preserved in the long-term historical development,which records the history,connects with the contemporary era,guides the future,and has long-term educational significance.From the observation and discovery of early biological phenomena,to the flexible application of advanced technologies such as cultivation,breeding and fermentation,to the in-depth understanding of human immune anatomy,it can be said that the excellent traditional Chinese culture is closely related to biology.Therefore,how to integrate the biological elements in the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the design of biology teaching in junior high school is the focus of this thesis.In this study,literature research,survey,classroom observation,case analysis,and action research were used.The author reviewed the research status of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into junior high school biology teaching through literature review,clarified the connotation of cognitive structure transfer theory and situational cognition theory,clarified the definition of culture and excellent traditional Chinese culture,and laid the foundation for the research.Focusing on the biology textbooks of Beijing Normal University and the traditional cultural materials of the 2022 Biology Academic Level Test questions,combined with questionnaire surveys and interview surveys,this study analyzes the current situation of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into junior high school biology teaching.In response to the survey results,the author proposes teaching design strategies based on the principles of discipline and humanities,integrity and diversity,subjectivity and moderation,such as collecting and establishing a micro library of materials,formulating teaching objectives that integrate traditional culture,creating a cultural context that connects knowledge throughout the classroom,and optimizing evaluation indicators.The author designed and implemented new teaching and review courses that incorporate traditional cultural elements,adopting a diverse evaluation method to collect feedback on the effectiveness.Analysis shows that the teaching design strategy is practical and feasible;Students can adapt,accept,and recognize biology classrooms that integrate into traditional culture;Integrating traditional culture into biology teaching can develop students’ core competencies and comprehensive abilities,deepen their impression of knowledge,promote knowledge transfer,help improve students’ grades,and stimulate their interest in studying traditional culture and biology.This study proposes and implements a strategy for integrating traditional cultural elements into biology teaching design,which has certain reference value for updating biology teaching design incorporating traditional cultural elements and implementing classroom teaching. |
