Carrying out career education in ordinary high schools is the embodiment of implementing the spirit of quality education and responding to students’ development needs.The high school stage is an important stage for students to receive career education,after completing three years of study,each high school student must choose a development path according to their own situation,and career education can help students clarify the development direction and scientifically plan the future development path.At present,under the background of the new college entrance examination reform,high school students can choose their subjects according to their own subject advantages,development planning and interests.Students need to have a clear understanding of their own,college majors and occupations,improve their awareness and skills of career planning,and then make a choice by considering various subjective and objective factors.It has become an important theme of current high school education to help students make independent choices and improve their ability to plan development paths.Therefore,it is necessary and promising to carry out career education in high school.Career education cannot rely solely on traditional forms such as career education courses,lectures and class meetings.Integrating into subject teaching is an effective way to broaden the coverage of career education and promote the normalization of career education.High school ideological and political course is the key course to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with morality,and is closely related to career education.The integration of career education into the teaching of ideological and political course in senior high school can not only cultivate students’ awareness of career development,career cognitive ability and professional ethics,but also has important significance in improving the attractiveness and effectiveness of high school ideology and political course.It is also of great significance to cultivate the core literacy of students’ ideological and political disciplines.At present,the practice of integrating career education into high school ideological and political teaching is still in the exploratory stage,and how to realize the effective combination of career education and high school ideological and political teaching is an issue worthy of in-depth discussion.Based on this,the paper focuses on the theme of integrating career education into high school ideological and political teaching.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the thesis consists of three parts :The first part is an overview of the relevant content of career education into high school ideological and political teaching.Firstly,it expounds the concepts related to the integration of career education into high school ideological and political teaching;secondly,combined with the needs of students’ career development,this paper discusses the content of career education;finally,from the three perspectives of students,high school ideological and political courses and career education,this paper analyzes the significance of integrating career education into high school ideological and political teaching,and discusses the feasibility of integrating career education into high school ideological and political teaching from three aspects of educational objectives,contents and teaching methods,which lays a foundation for putting forward specific integration measures later.The second part is the current situation investigation and result analysis of the integration of career education into high school ideological and political teaching.Through the analysis of the data of student questionnaires and teacher interviews,it is found that although teachers and students have a high recognition of the value of career education,the effect of integrating career education into ideological and political teaching is not satisfactory,there are some problems such as students’ awareness of career development needs to be improved,the disconnection between the content of integration and the needs of students,the form of activities is monotonous,and the integration of career education is not systematic enough.The five main reasons are as follows: teachers lack the quality of career education and have insufficient initiative to carry out the practice of integrating career education;the excavation of the content of the textbook is not deep enough,and the integration of career education is not comprehensive;teaching methods are biased towards traditional lectures,with few practical activities;the development of educational resources is insufficient,and resources have not been effectively utilized;the integration system of career education is still not perfect,and the teaching forms and activities are not systematic.The third part is the measures to optimize the integration effect of career education,which is the key part of the full text.The measures include the following five points: from the perspective of high school ideological and political teachers,they should establish a correct sense of integration,and enhance the competence of teachers through the study of career education theories and methods;from the perspective of teaching content,it is necessary to analyze the content of the textbook and explore the connection between the knowledge in the textbook and the content of career education;from the perspective of teaching methods,teachers should flexibly use various teaching methods in classroom teaching,and carry out social practice to guide students into society for career experience;from the perspective of educational resources,teachers should explore and introduce a variety of career education resources,and build a resource platform to serve teachers and students;from the perspective of the system of the integration,it is necessary to strengthen the construction of courses and activities according to the needs of students,and realize the systematic integration of career education.
