The educational community at home and abroad is committed to in-depth learning research to optimize classroom teaching.Deep learning has gradually become an important method to promote the development of students’ political core literacy,attracting the attention of many scholars and front-line teachers.Based on the needs of high school ideological and political curriculum reform and teaching practice,the author has carried out corresponding research on deep learning.Firstly,through extensive reading of domestic and foreign literature,this paper summarizes the connotation and theoretical basis of deep learning in ideological and political education in senior high schools,and constructs a corresponding framework for deep learning models.Based on this,this paper identifies the connection between ideological and political education in senior high schools and deep learning,and proposes the inherent requirements of deep learning for ideological and political education in senior high schools: a learning environment that points to the teaching subject,a learning process that points to meaning construction,and developmental learning results.After a comprehensive review of the theory of deep learning,a survey and interview method were used to investigate the situation of deep learning conducted by teachers and students in a high school ideological and political lesson in E Province.Combined with classroom observation,the basic situation of the application of deep learning in high school political teaching was obtained.The current situation of deep learning in high school ideological and political lesson was analyzed from three levels:learning environment,learning process,and learning results.In response to the shortcomings found in the survey and research,taking the compulsory course "Politics and the Rule of Law" as an example,this paper explores the optimization of teaching strategies to promote in-depth learning.It is proposed that in order to enable high school ideological and political courses to move towards in-depth learning,teachers need to create a positive and good learning environment,create a deeply participatory learning process,and greatly promote the development of students’ literacy at the level of learning outcomes.Finally,based on the teaching optimization strategy proposed above,a teaching case design is conducted for the learning of the course "Adhering to the People as the Center" in Politics and the Rule of Law,and a teaching design framework based on in-depth learning is proposed.
