After the Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship, basketball games have evolved to be characterized by "fast pace, multiple possessions, accurate longrange shooting, and large range of motion".Many college teams have also started to adopt the Warriors’ playing style, requiring basketball players to further improve their specialized movement abilities to adapt to the modern basketball game’s development. The strength of specialized movement abilities affects the athletes’ ability to compete for space and position during the game, and even decides the game’s outcome in critical moments.Pressure resistance training is a training method that combines medical techniques with physical fitness training and has been studied in China in recent years. The main method is to wrap the athlete’s leg in the upper 1/3 of the thigh with a pressure band of 120 mm Hg and combine it with hurdles, kettlebells, and light and heavy barbells to improve the athlete’s specialized movement ability. The main principle of pressure resistance training is to reduce the blood flow velocity at the end of the limb by wearing an inflatable sleeve at the end of the limb, reduce the blood flow volume to the muscle, increase the peripheral resistance of venous blood return, produce a venous pool effect, promote muscle growth, improve muscle adaptation, and enhance skeletal muscle strength.By improving the athlete’s muscle and blood flow adaptation ability, the specialized movement ability can be improved, increasing the winning probability of basketball games, and also reducing the occurrence of injuries in athletes. This article uses literature review, expert interviews, expert questionnaires, experiments, mathematical statistics, and other methods to screen and determine test indicators and training movements.Twenty-four female basketball players in the A group from Hebei Normal University were selected as the experimental objects. The experimental group of 12 people underwent pressure resistance training, and the control group of 12 people underwent traditional physical training. The training period for both groups was 12 weeks, with two training sessions per week, and each session lasting for 90 minutes.Research conclusion:(1)After 12 weeks of resistance training, the experimental group had P values less than0.001 for the Illinois Agility Test,one-legged hurdle hop,T-test,1RM squat, and hexagonal jump, indicating extremely significant differences. The P value for the triangle slide test was less than 0.01,indicating a strong significant difference. The P values for the 3/4 court sprint and standing two-legged jump were less than 0.05,indicating a significant difference.Only the two tests of "W" comprehensive layup and dribble obstacle course did not show significant differences(P>0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of traditional training, the control group had P values less than 0.001 for the Illinois Agility Test, hexagonal jump, and triangle slide, indicating extremely significant differences. The P values for the one-legged hurdle hop,T-test,and 1RM squat were less than 0.01,indicating a strong significant difference. The P values for the 3/4 court sprint and standing two-legged jump were less than 0.05,indicating a significant difference.Only the two tests of "W" comprehensive layup and dribble obstacle course did not show significant differences(P>0.05).(3)After 12 weeks of intervention, the experimental group and control group were compared for their specialized mobility abilities. The P value for the one-legged hurdle hop was less than 0.01,indicating an extremely significant difference. The P values for the Illinois Agility Test,3/4 court sprint, standing two-legged jump,T-test,1RM squat, hexagonal jump, and triangle slide were less than 0.05,indicating a significant difference. The P values for the two tests of "W" comprehensive layup and dribble obstacle course were greater than 0.05,indicating no significant difference. The most significant improvement was seen in the onelegged hurdle hop with an increase of 10.16%,while other indicators also showed varying degrees of improvement.Only the two tests of "W" comprehensive layup and dribble obstacle course did not show significant improvement.Research findings:(1)After 12 weeks of experimentation, the effect of resistance training under pressure on the specialized mobility skills of the women’s basketball players in the A group at Hebei Normal University was more evident, with only two ball-related tests-the "W" comprehensive layup and dribbling obstacle course-showing no significant improvement.(2)After 12 weeks of traditional training, there were varying degrees of improvement in the test scores of the specialized mobility skills indicators, with the Illinois run, hexagonal jump, and triangle slide showing significant improvement, indicating that traditional training also has a significant impact on the specialized mobility skills of basketball players, and cannot be completely disregarded.(3)After 12 weeks of experimentation, compared to traditional training, resistance training under pressure showed a more significant increase in the specialized mobility skills of basketball players, indicating that resistance training under pressure is better than traditional training for improving the specialized mobility skills of athletes who are not combining ball skills. The lack of significant improvement in the specialized mobility skills of the "W" comprehensive layup and dribbling obstacle course tests was due to the fact that the experimental subjects had poor basketball skills and did not reflect the effects of resistance training under pressure.
