The innovation of information technology continues to change the teaching and learning methods,and has an important impact on both teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.In The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)and The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(2017 Edition 2020 Revision),it has been explicitly proposed that attention should be paid to the use of information technology in mathematics teaching and learning,and the deep integration of information technology and mathematics course should be promoted to improve students’ enthusiasm and effectiveness in learning mathematics.GeoGebra software is a powerful dynamic mathematical software,which has gradually become an important auxiliary tool for mathematics teaching,research,learning and evaluation.Therefore,this paper studies how to use GeoGebra software to enrich the visual teaching activities of high school mathematics,and help students improve the ability of number-shape combination and intuitive imagination.Based on the questionnaire survey and theoretical research,this paper studies the effective application of GeoGebra software to mathematics visualization teaching activities in high school.First of all,through the questionnaire survey of students and interviews with teachers,it is learned that students’ interest in mathematics is generally low,and they lack the confidence to learn mathematics well.Traditional teaching activities cannot stimulate students’ desire to explore and think about mathematics knowledge.Then,in order to enrich visual teaching activities of mathematics in high school,on the basis of theoretical research,the author summarizes the teaching principles that should be followed in the application of this software in the teaching process,namely,subjectivity principle,purpose principle,acceptability principle and combination principle of geometry and algebra.Furthermore,combined with the function of GeoGebra software,this paper analyzes the four parts of high school mathematics:function,solid geometry,analytic geometry and probability and statistics,and gives some applicable contents of GeoGebra software to assist mathematics teaching in high school.Some strategies of this software in teaching practice are put forwarded,including comprehensive use of a variety of teaching media,create a dynamic teaching situation and reasonable and effective use of information technology.Then,on the basis of teaching principles and strategies,GeoGebra software is used to design some cases to assist teachers ’ heuristic teaching and the others to guide students to apply GeoGebra software to self-inquiry learning.Finally,through classroom observation and questionnaire survey,combined with comparison to traditional teaching activities,some advantages and disadvantages of GeoGebra software in assisting mathematics teaching in high school are pointed out.Through questionnaire survey,theoretical research and teaching practice,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)GeoGebra software enriches the visual teaching activities of high school mathematics;(2)In the teaching process,the use of GeoGebra software can effectively improve the teaching effect,stimulate students’ interest in mathematics learning,promote students’ understanding of mathematics knowledge,and improve students’ information literacy.(3)Visual teaching activities based on GeoGebra software should be closely integrated with traditional teaching activities.
