| Objective:The jumping height and moving speed of volleyball players are the key factors to win the match, and all these need the excellent explosive power of lower limbs as the basis. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of velocity based training(VBT)and percentage-based training(PBT)on the explosive strength of lower limbs of college female volleyball playersMethods:This study selected 18 women’s volleyball students from the Physical Education College of Hebei Normal University(age19.22±0.8;height177.22±5.44cm;weight68.79±6.78kg;body fat percentage24.62±2.71;strength training years 5.66±1.45).The subjects were randomly divided into PBT group and VBT group, with 9 people in each group. The subjects in both groups received daily special training three times a week.In addition, subjects in PBT group and VBT group received percentage-based strength training and velocity based training twice a week(Monday and Friday)for 8 weeks. The PBT group adopted 75% 1RM constant load, completed 4 groups * 5 times as required, with an interval of 4 minutes. The VBT group selects the load at the corresponding speed of75%1RM(the speed fluctuation is controlled within ± 0.05 m/s),monitors the change of speed in real time with Gymaware equipment, and controls the velocity loss within 10%.When the velocity loss reached the threshold, each group of training was finished, and 4 groups were completed as required, with an interval of 4 minutes. The training contents of the two groups are the same, and the warm-up and relaxation activities before and after training are carried out at the same time. Before and after the experiment, the maximum muscle strength test and lower limbs power force test were performed in both groups, among which the maximum muscle strength index included power clean, push press, and back squat 1RM,and the lower limbs power force test index included counter-movement jump, squat jump, continuous vertical jump,30 meter run,and half "meter" movement test.Results:(1)Before and after the experiment, the subjects in the PBT group and the VBT group had a significant increase in the 1RM of power clean, push press, and back squat(P<0.05).Among them,in the PBT group, the 1RM of power clean increased by 24.62%,the1 RM of push press increased by 17.49%,and the 1RM of back squat was increased by16.42%.In the VBT group, the 1RM of power clean increased by 30.03%,the 1RM of push press was increased by 24.59%,and the 1RM of back squat was increased by22.37%.Compared with PBT Group,VBT group had more significant improvement in back squat 1RM(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference between power clean and push press 1RM(P>0.05).(2)Before and after the experiment, the counter-movement jump, squat jump and continuous vertical jump of the subjects in the PBT group and the VBT group were significantly improved(P<0.05),among which the counter-movement jump, squat jump and continuous vertical jump of PBT group increased by 16.20%,6.15% and 16.01%respectively.In VBT group,counter-movement jump increased by 24.11%,squat jump increased by 15.91% and continuous vertical jump increased by 22.33%.Compared with PBT group, the counter-movement jump of subjects in VBT group improved significantly(P<0.01),while the squat jump and continuous vertical jump improved significantly(P<0.05).(3)After the experiment,PBT group only had significant improvement in half "meter" test(P<0.01),but not in 30 meter running(P>0.05).VBT group had significant improvement in half "meter" test(P<0.01)and 30 meter running(P<0.01).The VBT group had significant improvement in half "meter" test(P<0.01)and 30 meter running(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Eight weeks of PBT and VBT training can improve the muscle strength of female volleyball players, but VBT is better than PBT in the improvement of the maximum strength of power clean, push press, and back squats.(2)Both percentage-based training and velocity-based training can significantly improve the jump height of female volleyball players, but velocity-based training is more effective than percentage-based training in developing female volleyball players’ counter-movement jump, squat jump and continuous vertical jump.(3)In terms of horizontal explosive power,percentage-based training can only improve the half "meter" test of female volleyball players(P=0.00),velocity-based training can effectively improve the ability of women volleyball players to run 30 meters and half "meter" test, and the training effect is better than the percentage-based training.(4)The study found that with the influence of factors such as strength growth and neuromuscular system adaptation, under the specified velocity loss threshold, the number of repetitions completed by female volleyball players showed a trend of increasing. |
