In the international Chinese language teaching,there is a kind of important special teaching object--Overseas Chinese children.They have a lot of life in the family in Chinese or Chinese dialect input,and is also used by Chinese or Chinese dialect to communicate with their parents.This will cause the Overseas Chinese children's listening and speaking skills than reading and writing skills.Based on the teaching practice of Overseas Chinese children in Lingo Ace Chinese education institution,and based on the concept of "character based" and the study of children's second language acquisition,the author uses the methods of interview and classroom practice to explore the possibility of applying the concept of "character based" to Overseas Chinese children's Chinese character teaching.The introduction includes the reasons and significance of the topic,the concept of "character based",research methods,as well as the related research review of the teaching of Overseas Chinese children and the concept of "character based".The first chapter analyzes the Overseas Chinese children in Lingo Ace excellent educational institutions.The content of the analysis includes five aspects: age and cultural background,language environment,Chinese proficiency,learning needs and learning advantages and disadvantages.The second chapter analyzes the feasibility of Chinese word teaching under the concept of "character based" from the two aspects of the law of Chinese language itself and the learning needs of Overseas Chinese children.The third chapter shows the teaching design of words under the concept of "character standard".The first section is the general design idea,which is divided into teaching principles and methods.The second section takes the content of words in a class as an example,elaborates the characteristics of the teaching of words and words under the concept of "character standard","based on the analysis of Chinese characters,from word to word,and giving full play to the generation of Chinese characters".The fourth chapter analyzes the Chinese teaching practice of Overseas Chinese children under the concept of "character based" from three aspects of Chinese characters,vocabulary and courseware.The fifth chapter,through the test to the "character based" teaching results of the test analysis,and put forward the "character based" Chinese teaching effects and existing problems.In view of the problems,put forward their own suggestions.The epilogue is the summary of this article.The following conclusions are drawn: the concept of "character based" can help students understand the characteristics of Chinese language,build up the semantic structure network of Chinese language,stimulate the potential thinking ability of Chinese language,and improve their Chinese language proficiency.
